DARK HORSE

One of the longest running and most important comics magazines of heroic fantasy was undoubtedly Savage Sword. Dark Horse, in conjunction with Conan Properties, proudly announces the first in what will be a series of top-shelf sculptures of the greatest Robert E. Howard characters, who were discovered by many in the pages of Savage Sword. The series will be coordinated in terms of packaging design and size, and notably by the commitment that one of the industry's top sculpting talents, Tony Cipriano, will bring to each bust in the series. Dark Horse Deluxe is proud to announce, in partnership with HBO, a forthcoming limited-edition sculpted bust of the character Daenerys Targaryen, portrayed in the television series Game of Thrones by Emilia Clarke. She is depicted with a newly hatched baby dragon on her shoulder, recalling the striking closing scene of season 1. Sculpting was executed at Gentle Giant Studios.
