Writer Joe Casey debuted at Marvel with a long Cable run and a stint on Incredible Hulk. For DC’s Wildstorm imprint, Casey wrote Wildcats and co-created Automatic Kafka and The Intimates; he also wrote DC’s Batman: Tenses and Adventures of Superman. For Marvel, he has written Deathlok, Iron Man: The Inevitable, Uncanny X-Men and several “retro” limited series including Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes I and II. With Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven Seagle, Casey formed the development/production company Man of Action, responsible for animated series including Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 and Disney/XD’s Ultimate Spider-Man.Having studied at New York’s School of Visual Arts, ChrisCross made his breakthrough in the comics industry working for DC Comics’ Milestone imprint on Blood Syndicate and The World Needs Heroes, before going on to illustrate titles including Firestorm and Outsiders. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Charles Soule has written novels, comics, screenplays and stories of all types. Also a musician and an attorney, Soule somehow finds time to be one of the busiest writers in comics. Among his Marvel credits are Thunderbolts, She-Hulk and the landmark Death of Wolverine, as well as its immediate follow-up (Wolverines) and its eventual sequel (Return of Wolverine). Soule brought his legal expertise to the pages of Daredevil and assembled a blockbuster squad in Astonishing X-Men. Bob Harras edited several titles as Ralph Macchio’s assistant, mostly tie-ins such as Micronauts, Rom, Saga of Crystar and U.S. 1. He subsequently became chief editor of the X-Men titles and wrote for multiple series, including a three-year run on Avengers. Graduating to editor in chief, he oversaw well-received runs of Captain America, Daredevil, Deadpool and other titles, as well as the controversial second Clone Saga in the 1990s’ Spider-Man titles. Harras has since worked as contributing editor at WildStorm and collected editions editor for DC Comics. He began a decade-long stint as DC’s editor in chief in 2010.After early assignments on Kickers Inc. and Cloak and Dagger, Terry Kavanagh wrote Web of Spider-Man for years — spinning a hero he introduced in those pages, Nightwatch, into his own title. In addition to runs on Marc Spector: Moon Knight, X-Man and various mutant titles, he wrote Avengers, Iron Man and several tie-in one-shots during the controversial “Crossing” storyline. He then teamed with Kurt Busiek on the fan-favorite Avengers Forever. Pacheco wrote and drew Fantastic Four, and penned a spin-off Inhumans limted series. His first work upon returning to Marvel in 2009 was Ultimate Comics: Avengers with writer Mark Millar. He subsequently helped relaunch Uncanny X-Men with Kieron Gillen, worked on the event series Age of Ultron and drew Captain America.Artist Humberto Ramos made his American comics debut in 1994 with DC’s Impulse, featuring the Flash’s brash grandson. In 1998, Ramos launched the creator-owned Crimson under Wildstorm’s Cliffhanger imprint, illustrating the title for more than two years. He then moved to Marvel, becoming one of the most recognizable and innovative talents in comics. Seamlessly blending both Eastern and Western styles, the artist’s artist has worked on many of Marvel’s most iconic characters — including Spider-Man, Wolverine and the X-Men — in addition to a run on the fan-favorite Runaways. Ramos brought his kinetic artwork to the pages of Extraordinary X-Men and Champions, as well as a magical collaboration with Skottie Young on Strange Academy.

Ed Brisson is a comic-book writer who started to garner attention with his self-published crime series Murder Book. He broke into the spotlight in 2012 with the crime/time-travel thriller series Comeback (Shadowline/Image Comics). Brisson’s Marvel credits include Iron Fist, Old Man Logan, Uncanny X-Men, X-Force, Ghost Rider, Cable and New Mutants. He has been nominated several times for the Joe Shuster Award for Best Canadian Writer.Gerry Duggan has become one of Marvel’s most influential writers, having first made an impression at the House of Ideas with a lengthy and always surprising Deadpool run alongside his frequent writing partner, Brian Posehn.
