David Lapham is an American comic book writer, artist, and cartoonist, best known for his work on the independent comic book Stray Bullets.Joe R. Lansdale is the author of over 30 novels and numerous short stories. His work has appeared in national anthologies, magazines, and collections as well as numerous foreign publications. He has written for comics, television, film, newspapers, and websites. His work has been collected in 18 short-story collections, and he has edited or co-edited over a dozen anthologies. Steve Niles is a comic book author and novelist known for works such as 30 Days of Night; Criminal Macabre; Simon Dark; Frankenstein Alive, Alive; Mystery Society; and Batman: Gotham County Line. He is credited among other contemporary writers with bringing horror comics back to prominence.
