David Petersen was born in 1977. His artistic career soon followed. A steady diet of cartoons, comics and tree climbing fed his imagination and is what still inspires his work today. He is a three-time Eisner Award winner for his work on his Mouse Guard series. David received his BFA in printmaking from Eastern Michigan University where he met his wife Julia. They continue to reside in Michigan with their dogs, Autumn and Bronwyn.

Waid enjoyed his greatest outpouring of critical acclaim with the Eisner Award-winning Daredevil — which included a revered collaboration with frequent artistic partner Chris Samnee. He later took on such diverse pop-cultural icons as Princess Leia and Archie, and ushered in a new era of greatness for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in All-New, All-Different Avengers. His Marvel work continued with Avengers, Black Widow, Captain America, Champions and Doctor Strange.Chris Samnee has drawn comics for major and indie publishers including Marvel, DC/Vertigo and Oni Press. His credits include the Vertigo graphic novel Area 10 with writer Christos Gage and the Marvel series Thor: The Mighty Avenger with writer Roger Langridge. He began to work with comics in 2013, on the book Rampage Jackson: Street Soldier. After that, he did artwork for a couple comic books, and at the beginning of 2016 he started to work for Marvel Comics, where he illustrated titles such as Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Infinity and Squadron Supreme, among others.
