John Byrne has worked continuously in the comics industry as both writer and artist since 1975. After he initially collaborated with writer Chris Claremont on Iron Fist, Byrne and Claremont moved on to X-Men for a run still regarded as one of the title’s finest. Byrne contributed an equally famed stint on Fantastic Four, earning comparisons to the original Lee/Kirby issues for his imaginative plotlines and dynamic artwork. He also spun Alpha Flight into its own title. In 1986, he revamped DC’s flagship hero, Superman, reimagining the Man of Steel in a historic project heralded by a Time magazine cover. Steve Orlando made a name for himself at DC Comics, writing Wonder Woman, various Batman titles and Martian Manhunter. His Midnighter series and its sequel Midnighter and Apollo were nominated for a GLAAD Media Award. Roy Thomas joined the Marvel Bullpen as a writer and editor under Stan Lee, scripting key runs of nearly every title of the time: Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Sub-Mariner, Thor, X-Men and more. He wrote the first 10 years of Marvel’s Conan the Barbarian and Savage Sword of Conan; and launched such series as Defenders, Iron Fist, Invaders and Warlock. Gerry Duggan has become one of Marvel’s most influential writers, having first made an impression at the House of Ideas with a lengthy and always surprising Deadpool run alongside his frequent writing partner, Brian Posehn. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is an award-winning playwright, screenwriter, and comic book writer. In television, he was a writer on the HBO series Big Love for three years, and is currently a writer/producer on Glee. For Marvel Comics, he has written Spider-Man, Nightcrawler, The Fantastic Four (winning a Harvey Award for MK 4), and many others, and also adapted Stephen King's epic novel The Stand into a best-selling 30-issue series. His accomplishments in the theater world include over fifteen plays produced around the world; on Broadway, he was part of the team brought on to revamp Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. For film, he has written the new 2013 Carrie, based on the Brian DePalma classic, and a remake of the cult classic The Town That Dreaded Sundown, both for MGM. For Warner Brothers, he has written a new version of the horror musical Little Shop Of Horrors and the live-action adaptation of Archie.Robert Hack is a comic book artist and eloquent hillbillie based in Pennsylvania.
