Photojournalist Gloria Monday’s mission to investigate outbreaks of the future continues! An encounter unlocks clues about the “weretiger” terrorizing a local Indian population; and truth-seeking takes a personal turn when Monday’s search for answers about the Singularity event uncovers a life-changing (and possibly Earth-shattering) revelation. Meanwhile, money man Raf Romero proves he’s more than just the bankroller when he shares shreds of his origin story and fresh new intell. Government agents Koch and Bull’s scorched Earth pursuit of the team heats up, and all the new leads in the world won’t help Monday crack the case if this cat-and-mouse game continues.

Simon “Si” Spurrier writes comics, prose and TV. His comicbook projects run the gamut from mainstream-bothering fare like X-men, Flash and Hellblazer through to Eisner- and Grand Prix D’Angouleme-nominated indie titles like Coda, Damn Them All, and The Spire. He's the winner of a GLAAD award for his work on Star Wars: Doctor Aphra. Recent works include swamp-crime thriller The Voice Said Kill and weird-fi portal fantasy A Mischief Of Magpies. He lives by the seaside and is surprisingly good with a bow and arrow. Mike Dowling is a comic book artist drawing creator-owned, independent, and mainstream comics on both sides of the pond. Alongside working on Devlin Waugh, Judge Anderson, and Judge Dredd for 2000AD, Mike co-created the indie book Death Sentence with Monty Nero and then Unfollow with Rob Williams for Vertigo. He drew Safe Sex by Tina Horn for Image, and found a home at Marvel for some years, with stints on Alien, Amazing Spider-Man, Black Cat, and Daredevil amongst other titles. Recently he drew the comic adaptation of the first Witcher short story for Dark Horse.

Welcome to the Conservatory. After Earth was shattered into surviving pockets across the galaxy, humanity’s most talented young women train at this prestigious celestial boarding school to become the next generation of mech pilots. But these students aren’t soldiers, they’re ballerinas; and the mechs aren’t built for battle, but performance. All engineered in body and mind to entertain a ruling class of cosmic patrons in an annual life-or-death recital of mankind’s only unifying story: the saga of Appolyta the Huntress, a goddess whose pursuit of one last elusive prey ends in heartbreak. This year’s top recruits, the quietly ambitious Mar and rebellious Rhea, endure a cutthroat curriculum to compete for the crowning title of Prima Apparata. As their bond deepens and Mar’s obsessive quest puts her under the wing of Appolyta herself, the line between art and indoctrination blurs—and the great personal cost of perfection will transform their lives. Black Swan and Never Let Me Go meet Pacific Rim in this groundbreaking space opera from rising debut writer Olivia Dufault (Love Ignited, FX’s Legion) and fan-favorite veteran illustrator Rebekah Isaacs (BRZRKR: Fallen Empire, Money Shot)!

Rated T+
Olivia Dufault is a playwright, screenwriter, and comic book writer, whose work includes Year of the Rooster, The Tomb of King Tot, and The True Adventures of Wolfboy. In television, Olivia worked on the shows Preacher and Legion. Rebekah Isaacs is a comics illustrator based in Queens, NY. Best known for her work on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel & Faith series, she has drawn for nearly every US publisher across multiple genres including sci-fi and fantasy in creator-owned series like Money Shot and Reaver, and epic action & romance in the BRZRKR one-shot Fallen Empire. When she's not drawing, she's probably riding her bike and looking for birds.

Trish’s loss began the day her brother died. The grief that followed has taken so much more, and her vengeance means losing all the happiness she found when she went away to school. The question on everyone’s mind: will making Harvey pay for what he did be worth it? The drama deepens in this modern crime story by Dave Wielgosz (Man-Bat) and artist Tadd Galusha (Godzilla: Rage Across Time), with a stunning main cover by the master of crime comics and Whiteout co-creator Steve Lieber.
Rated T+
Dave Wielgosz is a comic book writer who was born and raised in Holyoke, Massachusetts, currently living in Los Angeles. Showdown, co-created and drawn by Tadd Galusha, is his first long-form creator-owned project. Prior to this he wrote 2021’s Man-Bat drawn by artist Sumit Kumar and contributed stories to comic book anthologies including Batman: The Brave & The Bold, EC’s Cruel Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Black White & Green, Hello Darkness, and Superman: Man of Tomorrow. Tadd Galusha is a Pacific Northwest comic creator currently operating in “the last frontier” of Alaska. A Kubert alum, he spent his early days in the industry working alongside artist legends Steve Lieber and Ron Randall in the Portland, Oregon comic scene. After cutting his teeth on TMNT, Godzilla, and the like, 2019 marked a breakout year with the release of his prehistoric epic and first creator-owned graphic novel, Cretaceous. Tadd has since been walking the line of independent and mainstream comics, working on various titles while on occasion dipping in and contributing visual elements to film and commercial projects. He is currently collaborating with writer Dave Wielgosz and the amazing Ignition Press team, providing interior line art on their new creator-owned series Showdown.
