Typically he is calm and collected, and always quick with a witty retort. But when it comes to his own past, he becomes quite heated and his composed exterior can shatter. Because of his own experiences he may be a bit hard on his younger allies, but he remains a strong pillar of emotional support to them. Additionally, Balthier is highly physically capable, possessing both speed and power, and he is handy with guns or daggers.
