A children's storybook that's illustrated with color stills from the film, Spirited Away! This book tells the story of the new animated film from the director of Kiki's Delivery Service and Princess Mononoke. Mom, Dad, and their daughter Chihiro are driving on their way to their new home. Chihiro isn't excited to be attending a new school. Dad takes a wrong turn, however, and the family becomes lost in a forest. Eventually, they find their way to a strange abandoned amusement park. Chihiro wanders off and returns only to find out Mom and Dad have turned into pigs. Frightened as night falls, Chihiro discovers she's in a world inhabited by ghosts, demons, and strange gods.
