Jordan Alsaqa is a Palestinian American comic writer from Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in creative writing. Since the release of his first one-shot, Terminal Protocol, co-created with Rem Broo and published by Scout Comics, Jordan has developed numerous projects, including five successful Kickstarter campaigns and several professionally published books. Jordan’s work includes the one-shots Finding Peace, Party of Your Afterlife, and We Have to Go Back; the ongoing horror-comedy Raise Hell!; and the rural horror miniseries Welderkin. Christian Ward is a UK-based illustrator, comic artist, and writer. Some of his clients include Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Epic Games, and The Guardian, amongst others. Gene Luen Yang writes, and sometimes draws, comic books and graphic novels. As the Library of Congress’ fifth National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, he advocates for the importance of reading, especially reading diversely. American Born Chinese, his first graphic novel from First Second Books, was a National Book Award finalist as well as the winner of the Printz Award and an Eisner Award. His two-volume graphic novel Boxers & Saints won the L.A. Times Book Prize and was a National Book Award Finalist. His other works include Secret Coders (with Mike Holmes), The Shadow Hero (with Sonny Liew), Superman from DC Comics (with various artists), Dragon Hoops, and the Avatar: The Last Airbender series from Dark Horse Comics and Superman Smashes the Klan at DC (both with Gurihiru). In 2016, he was named a MacArthur Foundation Fellow. His most recent book, Lunar New Year Love Story (with LeUyen Pham), won the Eisner for Best Graphic Album.Freddie E. Williams II entered the comic scene in 2005, when he began work with DC Comics on Seven Soldiers: Mister Miracle. He has since gone on to work on several crossover series, including Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, He-Man/ThunderCats, Injustice vs. Masters of the Universe, and Turtles of Grayskull.
