Following stints at AC Comics and Eclipse, Erik Larsen replaced fan-favorite Todd McFarlane on Amazing Spider-Man and quickly became a legend in his own right, chronicling Spidey’s cosmic-powered and powerless phases. His other Marvel credits include Defenders, Fantastic Four, Nova and Wolverine. At DC, he has penciled Doom Patrol, Outsiders, Teen Titans and others. Larsen’s greatest fame may be as creator of Savage Dragon at Image Comics, which he helped found and where he served as publisher for four years.Springing from the fertile ground of the U.K. comics scene, Warren Ellis came to Marvel during the early ’90s and proved his iconoclastic mettle in the ultra-edgy series Hellstorm and the limited series Druid — followed by fondly remembered extended runs on Excalibur and Doom 2099. After making a name for himself as a premier talent with Wildstorm’s Stormwatch, Transmetropolitan, The Authority and Planetary, Ellis returned to Marvel to pen Ultimate Fantastic Four, the Ultimate Galactus Trilogy, Iron Man and more. Classically trained at New York’s prestigious High School of Art and Design, Jimmy Palmiotti began his career as a comic-book inker, gaining a reputation as not only talented, but fast. Collaborating with fellow artist Joe Quesada, Palmiotti lent his skills to such projects as Batman: Sword of Azrael, The Ray and Ninjak. In 1995, Palmiotti and Quesada founded Event Comics, creating the memorable titles Ash and Painkiller Jane. This led to an offer from Marvel Comics to revamp several heroes under the Marvel Knights banner. With writer Kevin Smith and Quesada, Palmiotti’s work on Daredevil became a monumental success. Palmiotti later began to take on comic-book writing chores with a lengthy run on Harley Quinn along with his creator-owned books.

Jeph Loeb is an Emmy Award-nominated and Eisner Award-winning writer/producer. In television, his many credits include Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Heroes, Lost and Smallville; and in film, Teen Wolf and Commando. He has written nearly every major comics icon, including the Avengers, Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Batman and Superman. From 2010 to 2019, he was Marvel's executive vice president, head of television, in which role he executive produced multiple series for Netflix, beginning with Daredevil in 2015.Film director and screenwriter Greg Pak’s first feature, the sci-fi anthology Robot Stories, won 35 awards; he broke into the comics industry when his agent sent Marvel the screenplay. After writing a Warlock reboot, Pak made a splash with the X-Men: Phoenix — Endsong limited series and a lengthy run on Incredible Hulk, highlighted by the “Planet Hulk” storyline and the World War Hulk crossover. In addition to the acclaimed Magneto: Testament and Red Skull: Incarnate limited series, a War Machine revival and the retitled Incredible Hulks, Pak has written Dynamite’s Battlestar Galactica and contributed to Secret Identities: The Asian American Superhero Anthology. McGuinness has reteamed with his Deadpool scribe Joe Kelly for Spider-Man/Deadpool and with Aaron on a blockbuster relaunch of Avengers.First teaming with Jeph Loeb on a long run of Cable, Ian Churchill also pitched in on Loeb’s "Heroes Reborn" iteration of Avengers. In addition, Churchill drew the 1994 Deadpool miniseries and several issues of Uncanny X-Men. For DC, Churchill’s credits include Loeb’s Supergirl, Superman and Superman/Batman. Returning to Marvel, he conceptualized the look of Red She-Hulk in the pages of Hulk.A founding member of the star-studded Image team, Whilce Portacio became a star thanks to his work on late-’80s Marvel titles like Punisher, Uncanny X-Men and X-Factor. After time at Image during the early ’90s, he returned to Marvel with writer Jeph Loeb on Iron Man. A long illness kept him from the drawing boards until his return on Wildstorm’s Wetworks.
