From Gecco Corp. The characters from the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight are recreated as 1/6-scale premium statues. The silhouette of the unnaturally swollen head and hideously twisted spine, inspires feelings of fear, is perfectly captured here. The infected skin sores are carefully sculpted to highlight the weirdness of the character. The haunting dead eyes under the ugly tortured face feature light-up LEDs glowing white in the darkness. And just like in the game the areas he stares at are lighted in red, the LED on this statue can be switched to red to create the same atmosphere. The chainsaw is precisely sculpted digitally: meanwhile, the brutal hammer is sculpted by hand emphasizes the brutality of the character. A stark contrast of light and dark was used in painting to highlight the way the light hits her face, which is hardly seen during gameplay, but is thoroughly sculpted in tight detail. In spite of this mini size, the sculpture captures all the wrinkles and stitches on her characteristic yellow raincoat, creating a realistic piece, and the base features the candle which acts as the save point in the game along with books that are sometimes used as step ladders. From Gecco. The Bonfire holds many sacred and important meanings in the Dark Souls series. We are excited to present this monumental fire as a 1/6 scale statue. No detail was left uncaptured. The burnt bones buried in ashes and the coiled sword were traditionally sculpted in clay by Shinya Akao. The complex surging flame was digitally sculpted by YU-KI. As a surprising feature, the flame is lit by inserting the coiled sword into the earth just like in the video game scene. The details really shine from within, lighted by a special flickering LED. The bonfire statue displays beautifully as a stand alone piece but also creates an impressive display next to other Dark Souls 1/6 scale statues.
