From Koei Tecmo Games' high-speed ninja action game Ninja Gaiden series, Ryu Hayabusa, the dragon ninja who has played the main role since 1988's original game, is now available as a detailed 1/7-scale figure! Based on the visuals of Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, a package of three works in the series, this figure is sculpted in a determined pose as he unsheathes his dragon sword from the sheath on his back and marches forward into the battle that awaits him! His serious appearance, with a sharp gaze from under his steel helmet, and the bulging muscles of his exposed arms are sculpted with a realistic touch. Although the futuristic ninja suit is the same jet black, the texture of the different materials for each part is expressed in detail with paint. The peeling paint on the armor parts is also reminiscent of the fierce battles he has gone through. This style of armor for both horse and rider was more frequently worn for jousting than for actual battle; each detail of the armor for both horse and rider have been painstakingly researched and reproduced! The knight and his mount are both fully articulated for maximum action; the knight's armor includes additional details such as an altered jaw part of the helmet to not interfere with the lance, and ankle armor with attached spurs. The horse's armor features chain mail around the throat, and metallic chain for the reins. All armor is finely sculpted and detailed with the characteristic ridges seen on 15th century Gothic armor. Since his first appearance in 1988 in the 2D action game, he has also appeared in popular titles such as Dead or Alive and the Warriors Orochi series. In Amazing Yamaguchi, he is three-dimensionalized in a modern ninja suit style from Ninja Gaiden 2, the main title in the series. His muscular proportions and details inspired by high-tech materials are sculpted with the same precision as in the game. He comes with a variety of weapons used in the game, including the demon-repelling sword Ryuken, which can be unsheathed from the sheath on his back, as well as the Kusarigama, Shuriken, and Hard-Shelled Raptor Claws. Katsuhisa Yamaguchi has put a lot of effort into the movement, such as dividing the side of the chest to allow the shoulders to move forward and backward, and adding joints to the shins to express flexibility. In addition, the wrist parts, such as handles for each weapon and hand gestures for making mudras, are selected in a ninja-like style, allowing you to recreate ninja actions using a variety of weapons!
