A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Kotobukiya's Marvel Comics ARTFX+ Statues have brought you Earth's Mightiest Heroes in the Avengers as well as the heroic mutants of the X-Men. The latest series of high quality 1/10th scale ARTFX+ figures celebrates iconic characters appearing in Spider-Man titles, and up next is the Marvel Now! incarnation of the bonded alien symbiote: AGENT VENOM! After being used by anti-hero Eddie Brock and the villain Mac Gargan, the Venom symbiote was captured by the U.S. government for use in a secret military program. It was assigned to none other than Eugene 'Flash'Thompson, a character who first appeared bullying Peter Parker in high school all the way back in 1962 but who more recently served with distinction in the Army. Agent Venom fought supervillains on Earth and in deep space along with the Guardians of the Galaxy, and now the symbiotic hero joins the Spider-Man lineup in an amazing ARTFX+ Statue presentation based on artwork by Stefano Caselli! Embarking on a secret mission, Agent Venom stalks his prey using stealth and military training. Flash sneaks along in a deep crouch with twin pistols held up at the ready as he pivots to check for targets. The symbiote provides excellent armor protection over a standard issue outfit, and Venom is outfitted with a sleek black bodysuit with heavy combat boots and chitinous armor plating protecting the agent's torso, lower limbs, shoulder, and collar. Flash also wears a belt carrying additional equipment and two more pistols in holsters, and his bodysuit extends over his head in a sleek black hood with white eye outlines. That bright white is also seen at strategic places on Venom's suit: rectangles on the back of the hands, outlines on the thighs, and of course spider symbols on the chest and back. Everything about the stance and equipment screams precision and deadly intent, down to the exacting details like Flash's trigger discipline. Agent Venom stands under 7 ½ inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale) in his crouching pose and was sculpted by the same artist responsible for the Marvel Now! Avengers, X-Men, and Spider-Man series, Junnosuke Abe (RESTORE). And as with all ARTFX+ releases magnets in his feet provide perfect stability on the included display base. Agent Venom will look great stalking his prey in your collection whether he operates alone or stands alongside other members of the ARTFX+ Spider-Man Family series! A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Frame Arms Girl is a new expansion of Kotobukiya's Frame Arms series combining the customizability of those plastic model kits with the aesthetics of our Ani*Statues. Following up after Gourai, Stylet, and Materia in this unique line is a new feminine robot called JINRAI! While standard Frame Arms robots are built around a basic, articulated internal skeleton, the Frame Arms Girls like Jinrai are actual robot Frames themselves capable of utilizing an astounding array of armor, weapons, and accessories. Jinrai looks like a real girl, slender and cute, who wears high-tech red and purple armor (complete with connector pieces) on her torso, arms, and legs along with a matching choker and a boxy black headband over her long blond hair. The Frame Arms Girl consists of 230 pieces and features thirteen points of articulation for a wide array of posing options. Her universal 3mm attachment points are fully compatible with parts from all Frame Arms units and Koto's M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) series of support units as well as the Border Break robots. This 1/10 scale statue was crafted down to the finest detail using digital sculpting, giving this expertly crafted collector's piece an exquisite appearance alongside lifelike detail. The craftsmanship in this piece continues from the sculpting to the painting. Unlike other pieces which follow the pattern of a simple base coat with shading. ARTFX Premier re-evaluates the standards for figure painting. Each individual piece of the statue is layered with several types of paint, giving the finished product an unprecedented sense of beauty and depth. With these techniques in mind, Kotobukiya's craftsmen imagined what kind of materials may come out of the realm of Asgard to create the unique paint job on Thor's metal and leather armor, which transforms in color depending on the angle as it catches light. Measuring just under 3.5 centimeters (1.5 inches) in length, the statue's face is meticulously crafted and full of photographic lifelike detail. Coming from an alternate world of scientific magic and strange creatures is one of the most popular characters from the series as he appears in the Brotherhood manga adaptation, ROY MUSTANG! A State Alchemist of Amestris known as the 'Flame Alchemist' for his fondness for fire-based effects, Roy was a staunch supporter of his military and government until he discovered the corruption at its highest levels. Now he has been transmuted into the real world looking like he stepped right out of the anime series! Mustang leans against a low, broken wall, surrounded by fire and ready to summon more. Roy wears his highly detailed State Alchemist uniform complete with black boots and blue and gray matching trousers and long jacket; as an officer he is decorated with rank and other insignia on his chest, collar, and shoulders.
