From Kotobukiya. Sculpted by Erick Sosa, this finely crafted statue depicts a grieving Wolverine who has escaped from the research facility where he was subjected to Experiment X, a brutal experiment that involved bonding the mutant's skeleton with admantium and erasing his memories. The statue recreates the scene where the fugitive mutant is running down a snowy mountain road after his escape, which is considered to a crucial point in the character's storyline. The diorama base is modeled after the harsh winter environment in the remote area of Alberta, Canada where Department K is located. Although the motif of the statue differs from the statues of the -Danger Room Sessions- series, Weapon X still looks great displayed alongside the other X-Men Fine Art Statues. Following Black Panther and Scarlet Witch is the Astonishing Ant-Man and Wasp! Adi Granov's art is brought to life by sculptors Junnosuke Abe (RESTORE) and Keita Misonou. Ant-Man's design is based on the suit used by Scott Lang after he takes over the position from Hank Pym, and Adi's Granov's unique photo-realistic art is expertly rendered into an original statue with a high level of detail made possible by Kotobukiya's expert craftsmen. In addition to the full-sized Ant-Man, this product also includes a miniature Ant-Man with an ant companion, and a miniature of the original Janet van Dyne Wasp at the shrunken-down scale shown in the concept art. Kotobukiya has introduced the latest installments in their stylish Devil May Cry series as Dante and Nero are joining their line of ARTFX J 1/8-scale statues. Dante appears as if he has jumped straight from the game, holding his signature blade Rebellion at the ready, an aloof expression on his face. Each detail of the character's appearance has been carefully recreated, from the leather texture on his coat and trousers to the metal buttons and fasteners on his costume. Rebellion is also faithfully recreated down to the intricate details of the skeleton on the hilt, which has a different design on the top and bottom; just one example of why this piece cannot be fully appreciated from one single angle.
