Two scenes from the animated special, A Charlie Brown Christmas, have been recreated as playsets with light and sound! With flashing lights and decorations covering every inch, it was no surprise that Snoopy's Doghouse won the Super-Colossal-Neighborhood-Lights-and Display contest. When the 'First Prize' ribbon on this playset is pressed, Charlie Brown's thoughts concerning the whole commercialized contest are played, and then the entire Peanuts gang offers Charlie Brown their Christmas wishes! Later, Charlie Brown and Linus search for the 'perfect' tree at the Christmas Tree Lot. Amongst the glitter and glitz of all the fabulous trees they find the one they're looking for - a tiny, old-fashioned 'wooden' tree that seems to symbolize the true meaning of Christmas.
