Edgar Allan Poe has had a significant influence in both television and film around the world. With two features about the famed writer being released this year, it's only fitting that Italian filmmaker Domiziano Cristofaro delivered a challenge to fifteen of his fellow directors: Choose a favorite story written by the infamous writer, write a script, choose the locations, and cast and shoot a short film with only three days of shooting allowed. The challenge was accepted, and the result is P.O.E.: Poetry of Eerie, a beautiful and startling collection of short films, each demonstrating a completely different style and vision.
