In 1979 Singapore unveiled Singa the Courtesy Lion as part of a campaign to make the city a better place. Spreading the message that 'Courtesy is a way of life,' Singa the Courtesy Lion became part of Singapore's social fabric and a widely recognized symbol and mascot for civilization's potential. Project Singa, a campaign held in conjunction with World Kindness Day (November 13th), redesigned the beloved Singa mascot with 34 specially-created designs.
