Imported from Japan! Bandai's Soul of Chogokin line of action figures take classic Japanese robot toy models from the 1970's and 1980's and remaster them as die-cast metal figures, with a delicate paint finish and the heft that comes only from a die-cast. Created by Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa, Getter Robo was one of the first, and most popular, super robot series to debut in Japan. Among the robots featured in the series was the Getter-1, piloted by Ryoma Nagare. Originally available exclusively at the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con, this special limited edition of the Getter-1 features a metallic sheen and is limited to 500 pieces. Window box packaging.
