esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Illustrated throughout, The Penguin Classics Marvel Collection presents specially curated comic book anthologies of the origin stories, seminal tales, and characters of the Marvel Universe to explore Marvel's transformative and timeless influence on an entire genre of fantasy. A Penguin Classics Marvel Collection Edition Collects The Avengers #1-4, 9, 16, 26, 28, 44, 57, 58, 71, 74, and 83. It is impossible to imagine American popular culture without Marvel Comics. For decades, Marvel has published groundbreaking visual narratives that sustain attention on multiple levels: as metaphors for the experience of difference and otherness; as meditations on the fluid nature of identity; and as high-water marks in the artistic tradition of American cartooning, to name a few. For the first time, these classic stories of some of the most iconic super heroes in the artistic tradition of American cartooning, to name a few. Starting in 1961, Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and their collaborators transformed the super hero genre with a series of new creations, including the Incredible Hulk, The Mighty Thor, and The Invincible Iron Man. In 1963, Lee and Kirby brought these characters together for the first time in a new magazine called The Avengers-adding a revived Captain America shortly after. Over time the Avengers' roster would frequently change, mirroring transformations in the Marvel Universe and the society that it reflected. This unique collection gathers key issues from the first few years of the series. A foreword by Leigh Bardugo, a scholarly introduction by Jose Alaniz, and a series introduction by Ben Saunders offer further insights into the enduring significance of The Avengers and classic Marvel comics. Johnny Dynamite, created by Pete Morisi, was a hard-boiled private detective, known as 'The Wild Man from Chicago.' Good friends with the D.A. but readily accepted by the underworld, he smoked cigarettes constantly, cursed frequently, and had a bad habit of getting shot and beaten by his enemies. But always gave as good as he got; he was an experienced and persistent detective taking his cases personally and killing many of his early foes, claiming they were reaching for a weapon. Myra Benz, who had shot him in the eye, was brazenly killed without any true justification beyond his own sense of justice. The other main artist across Comic Media titles was Don Heck, who in 1955 would be recruited by Stan Lee to Atlas Comics, later to become Marvel Comics. Courtesy of the Traveler's creator, Steve Ditko, this title beat pretty much everything else on the old creaking metal comicbook spinners. What it may have lacked in the comicbook equivalent of $100M SFX budgets, the Mysterious Traveler made up for it with sheer class, style and out 'n out pizzazz and charm. A clear inspiration to the hugely popular Amazing Adult Fantasy, the Mysterious Traveler is surely the original 'adult' comic and published for the first time in our popular SOFTEE format is absolutely still worth a deep read.
