Brian Herbert is the son of legendary science fiction author Frank Herbert and has written the definitive biography of him, Dreamer of Dune, a finalist for the Hugo Award. Brian has also written many highly imaginative novels, including the Timeweb trilogy, the ecological fantasy Ocean (with his wife, Jan), The Little Green Book of Chairman Rahma, The Unborn, and The Assassination of Billy Jeeling. His earlier acclaimed novels include The Stolen Gospels, Sudanna Sudanna, and Sidney’s Comet, as well as Man of Two Worlds (written with his father). Brian has collaborated on many novels in the Dune series with Kevin J. Anderson, all of which became international bestsellers, and they also wrote the Hellhole trilogy together. Conor McCreery is the swashbuckling wordsmith behind the Kill Shakespeare series (IDW), an action-adventure take on the Bard’s characters that spawns five volumes (and counting), a stage play, and a board game. Conor also created the YA adventure series, The Last Witch (BOOM!), and has told stories for brands like Adventure Time, Regular Show, Assassin’s Creed and more. A former journalist who worked on three continents, Conor started his career in the Canadian film and television industry. In addition to The Last Witch, his newest projects are a comics biography of the legendary Fela Kuti: Music Is the Weapon (Harper Collins), the coming-of-age tale Status (Scholastic), and the horror-comedy Trickster (TPub!). He is also the head writer and co-creator of Embreate Productions transmedia Science Fiction story-world, Future Now. He lives in France with his wife and three children.
