esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Series Description: In the kingdom of Empiria, modern times have come. Now, anyone can have the power of a wizard by using magic crystals. They can power a magic mirror to talk with a friend across the kingdom, tune into your favorite show, or power a magic broom. Princess Mae didn’t spend her entire life studying magic just to be a shill for her father’s crystal business. He gets rich off his people while doing nothing to make their lives better. She made the sacrifice to have real power so she can protect her people, not exploit them. In Dragon City, Randy, a punk rock unicorn, is just trying to take the subway home. There it is. That look. He hates that look. These old timer unicorns were born before the Reformation. They must have had their horns taken by dragons. When they were young, by the look of it. Now they view the youngest generation with both pride and envy. The crops are failing, the cows skinny, and jobs are scarce. Justin lost his job at the dairy a few months ago. That doesn’t stop his elf neighbor from stopping by every night to drink his beer. Watch his mirror. Burn through his crystals. Then Petra shows up at Justin’s favorite bar. Why would a pretty lady like her be interested in a down-on-his-luck ex-farmer? She is the best thing to happen to him in years. Issue 6 Description: Justin has a revelation, Mae and Dingo explore N'Guruwe while Randy teams up with Freyagina. Writer/Creator: David K. Wilson Artist: Jacques Salomon Letterer: Scott O. Classically trained at New York’s prestigious High School of Art and Design, Jimmy Palmiotti began his career as a comic-book inker, gaining a reputation as not only talented, but fast. Collaborating with fellow artist Joe Quesada, Palmiotti lent his skills to such projects as Batman: Sword of Azrael, The Ray and Ninjak. In 1995, Palmiotti and Quesada founded Event Comics, creating the memorable titles Ash and Painkiller Jane. This led to an offer from Marvel Comics to revamp several heroes under the Marvel Knights banner. With writer Kevin Smith and Quesada, Palmiotti’s work on Daredevil became a monumental success. Palmiotti later began to take on comic-book writing chores with a lengthy run on Harley Quinn along with his creator-owned books. After co-creating Image Comics’ Hyperkinetic with Howard M. Shum, Matteo Scalera moved to Marvel to pencil and ink issues of Deadpool Corps, Deadpool Team-Up and related titles before shifting to such team books as Secret Avengers and Wolverine & the X-Men. At Boom! Studios, he has provided art for Chris Roberson’s Starborn and Michael Alan Nelson’s Valen the Outcast, as well as covers for Mark Waid’s Irredeemable and Incorruptible.Frank Tieri entered the early part of the new century as writer on diverse titles such as Wolverine, Iron Man and Weapon X. His Hercules limited series cast the Avenger as a reality-TV star reliving his twelve trials, continuing the lighthearted legacy of Olympus’ favorite son. Tieri’s Underworld and Civil War: War Crimes explored the effects of the heroes’ registration fight on Marvel’s criminal element. World War Hulk: Gamma Corps followed the next generation of gamma-irradiated superhumans as they sought to kill the Hulk. And Dark Reign: Lethal Legion charted the crash-and-burn exploits of an ad hoc team of bad guys as they vainly sought to topple Norman Osborn from power. Tieri, whose Marvel credits also includes New Excalibur, explored Weirdworld in the pages of Black Knight.Artist Darick Robertson illustrated all sixty issues of Transmetropolitan with writer Warren Ellis. In the Fury limited series for Marvel, Robertson and Garth Ennis presented a graphically realistic vision of what it means to be the leader of the world’s biggest spy organization. He and Ennis next collaborated on the Marvel Knights Punisher series and later launched the controversial creator-owned series The Boys, now a smash-hit streaming series. In addition to his lengthy run on New Warriors, Robertson’s other Marvel credits include Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Toxin. After his start on Action Force and Transformers for Marvel UK, Anthony Williams penciled Marvel’s Squadron Supreme: New World Order one-shot, Hokum and Hex (a Clive Barker creation), and DC’s Fate. In the pages of 2000 AD, he collaborated with Dan Abnett, Garth Ennis, Mark Millar and Grant Morrison, among other noted British writers.Georges Jeanty helped build the popularity of mutants Bishop and Gambit on their respective solo series in the 1990s, and went on to further acclaim with The American Way for DC Comics’ Wildstorm imprint. Hi other Marvel credits include Deadpool and Weapon X. Jeanty demonstrated his flair for media tie-in work as the artist for the comic-book continuation of the beloved TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a skill set he utilized to great effect on Marvel’s adaptation of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. In addition to Deadpool, multitalented penciler, inker and writer Jim Calafiore has worked on many issues of Exiles during its lengthy run, and has an extensive list of credits for both Marvel and DC Comics.

As fame explodes, he plunges into the era’s excesses—sex, drugs, rock ’n’ roll, Vietnam-era shadows—embodying the intoxicating yet destructive pursuit of freedom. Fire! immerses the reader in the turbulent late 1960s. A fascinating peek at the vibrant American rock music scene of the time. Aaron, inspired by Scott Walker, blazes across the pages, colliding with iconic personalities and legendary bands of the era. The collection also includes a short comic on Pink Floyd. Created by Hideko Mizuno, a trailblazing shojo pioneer mentored by Osamu Tezuka and a Tokiwa-so resident, Fire! broke new ground: one of the first shojo series with a male lead, featuring sex scenes that challenged post-WWII taboos and explored mature themes of desire, identity, and countercultural rebellion. Inspired by Scott Walker, Aaron is a flawed, hedonistic, and charismatic anti-hero. Fire! in English is long overdue. Classic shojo manga has been almost entirely absent from the English localization wave of the last two decades — a blind spot that has left anglophone readers without access to key works that shaped the medium. Mizuno is the acknowledged forerunner of the Year 24 Group. The artists — Moto Hagio, Keiko Takemiya, Riyoko Ikeda — are already familiar to all American Manga fans. Fire! is the missing ancestor.
