The world's first series of action figures created by Hasbro, G.I. Joe follows a group of heroes in their fight against Cobra, an evil organization plotting to take over the world. The first character to join the series is an agent from the global elite special unit known as the G.I. JOE team, Scarlett! The statue is based on original art by Shunya Yamashita, which was specially created as concept art for the BISHOUJO statue! A counter-intelligence expert who protects her allies from enemy schemes, Scarlett is proficient with a variety of weapons. Scarlett's signature red hair and two-piece bodysuit are recreated in stunning detail. While remaining faithful to the original G.I. JOE series, Scarlett's suit has also been upgraded to represent the advanced, high-tech equipment available to the elite G.I. JOE team, as is evident in the suit's unique and highly detailed texture. Additionally, like the original action figure, Scarlett comes with an XK-1 power crossbow. Created through the power of technology, this high quality digitally sculpted statue leaves no detail untouched thanks to the expert hand of sculptor Takaboku Busujima (BUSUJIMAX). The G.I. Recently the series took a totally unique turn, transforming two horror movie icons into pretty girls with Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger. Now a third gender-bending film star joins the party with a stunning new Bishoujo interpretation of EDWARD SCISSORHANDS! Tim Burton's classic 1990 dark fantasy introduced the world to Edward (played magnificently by Johnny Depp), a gentle automaton with unfinished scissor hands created by a mad scientist. Now that character's iconic appendages, color scheme, and style have been interpreted by Kotobukiya based on an original illustration by Shunya Yamashita that brings Edward to life as never before. The beautiful female version stands with all the awkwardness of the film character, her feet apart and knees spread, head cocked to one side, and scissor hands held up in front of her. 'Edward' wears a fantastically detailed black gothic-style outfit with tall boots, stockings, a short dress with shredded skirt, long gloves, and a choker at her neck. Following up after Gourai, Stylet, and Materia in this unique line is a new feminine robot called JINRAI! While standard Frame Arms robots are built around a basic, articulated internal skeleton, the Frame Arms Girls like Jinrai are actual robot Frames themselves capable of utilizing an astounding array of armor, weapons, and accessories. Jinrai looks like a real girl, slender and cute, who wears high-tech red and purple armor (complete with connector pieces) on her torso, arms, and legs along with a matching choker and a boxy black headband over her long blond hair. The Frame Arms Girl consists of 230 pieces and features thirteen points of articulation for a wide array of posing options. Her universal 3mm attachment points are fully compatible with parts from all Frame Arms units and Koto's M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) series of support units as well as the Border Break robots.
