esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Joe Kelly broke into Marvel in 1997, adding his own style of irreverence to Deadpool and turning the title into a cult sensation. After runs on Daredevil and X-Men, Kelly departed for DC Comics, where he delivered award-winning work on Action Comics and Superboy. He subsequently returned to Marvel, collaborating with the “Spider-Man Brain Trust†and penning several memorable arcs on Amazing Spider-Man. Kelly combined the two Marvel characters with which he is most closely associated in the riotous team-up series Spider-Man/Deadpool. Along with several fellow comic creators, Kelly established Man of Action, the studio that has produced the Ben 10 animated series.Best known as an editor, James Felder wrote stories for several Marvel anthology titles, including Marvel: Shadows and Light, Marvel Comics Presents and What If? After co-plotting issues of Deadpool with Joe Kelly, he wrote the Deadpool Team-Up one-shot, in which the Merc with a Mouth encountered the infamous Beyonder.Writer/editor Stan Lee (1922-2018) made comic-book history together with Jack Kirby in 1961 with Fantastic Four #1. The monumental popularity of its new style inspired Lee to develop similarly themed characters — including the Hulk and X-Men with Kirby, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange with Steve Ditko, and Daredevil with Bill Everett. After shepherding his creations through dozens of issues — in some cases a hundred or more — Lee allowed other writers to take over, but he maintained steady editorial control. Eventually, he helped expand Marvel into a multimedia empire. In recent years, his frequent cameo appearances in Marvel’s films established Lee as one of the world’s most famous faces.Artist Ed McGuinness came to prominence with his work on Harris Comics’ Vampirella and Marvel’s Deadpool. At Awesome Entertainment, McGuinness participated in a Fighting American revamp with writer Jeph Loeb, who would become a longtime collaborator. A short run on WildStorm’s Mr. Majestic led to a longer one on DC Comics’ Superman and the launch of Superman/Batman with Loeb. Back at Marvel, McGuinness reunited with Loeb for Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America, Hulk and Avengers: X-Sanction before launching Amazing X-Men with Jason Aaron. McGuinness has reteamed with his Deadpool scribe Joe Kelly for Spider-Man/Deadpool and with Aaron on a blockbuster relaunch of Avengers.Born in Portland, Oregon, Aaron Lopresti studied business and briefly worked in the film industry before starting a career as a commercial artist at Art Farm Studios. He broke into comics in 1993 as the artist of Malibu’s Sludge series for the Ultraverse line, later acquired by Marvel. Lopresti has since drawn projects featuring Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Mister Terrific, Plastic Man, Superboy, Gen¹³, Mystic, Xena and Star Trek for various publishers, as well as the self-published Atomic Toybox and CHIX. His many Marvel/Malibu credits include Amazing Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Elven, Generation X, New X-Men, Rogue, Sentinel Squad O*N*E, Uncanny X-Men, What The--?! and What If?, plus longer runs on Excalibur, Incredible Hulk and Ms. Marvel.Bernard Chang broke into comics at Valiant, earning acclaim for his art on The Second Life of Dr. Mirage and The Visitor. Chang subsequently drew the New Mutants: Truth or Death miniseries for Marvel; at DC, he has contributed to Supergirl, Superman and Wonder Woman, as well as the New 52 titles DC Universe Presents and Demon Knights. Outside comics, Chang has designed several award-winning Disney attractions and provided illustrations for a number of books, including Jenna Jameson’s autobiography.Shannon Denton began his comics career contributing art to various Image titles. After a short stint illustrating Deadpool, Denton wrote and drew the Antarctic Press one-shots Big Game and Actionopolis, and cowrote several titles with Keith Giffen, including Common Foe, Grunts and Gutwrencher. In 2000, Denton founded independent publisher Komikwerks. Denton also works in the animation field and has contributed to several Fox Kids shows — including the X-Men, Spider-Man and Silver Surfer — as well as the film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. After getting his start as an intern at WildStorm Productions, artist Pete Woods went on to illustrate such WildStorm titles as StormWatch, Wetworks and Backlash. Moving to Marvel, he drew issues of Excalibur before joining writer Joe Kelly on Deadpool. At DC, he penciled a four-year run on Robin, later working on Action Comics with writers Geoff Johns and Paul Cornell, and the miniseries Superman: Last Stand of New Krypton with cowriters James Robinson and Sterling Gates.Walter McDaniel’s Marvel output includes annuals for Gambit, Ka-Zar and Wolverine, along with stints on Deadpool and Deathlok. Elsewhere, he has drawn Earth 4 for Continuity Comics, as well as Crush and Pact for Image. Steve Harris has penciled Deadpool/Death 1998 Annual and issues of Generation X. He has also worked for Warren Publishing and Willyprods. After his start on Action Force and Transformers for Marvel UK, Anthony Williams penciled Marvel’s Squadron Supreme: New World Order one-shot, Hokum and Hex (a Clive Barker creation), and DC’s Fate. In the pages of 2000 AD, he collaborated with Dan Abnett, Garth Ennis, Mark Millar and Grant Morrison, among other noted British writers.Artist David Brewer began his career at Marvel, contributing fill-in art on various titles and drawing several issues of 2099: World of Tomorrow and Incredible Hulk. For DC, Brewer illustrated several annuals before moving to Chaos! Comics, where he drew the Dead King and Lady Demon miniseries, as well as several Evil Ernie comics, including the Depraved and War of the Dead spinoffs.John Romita was born in 1930 and drew for Atlas Era Marvel Comics across many genres. By the time Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko were defining the look and feel of the Marvel Age of Comics during the 1960s, Romita had made the move to DC Comics, where he was working exclusively behind the boards of the company’s many romance comics. It wasn’t until 1966 that he returned to Marvel Comics and the super-hero genre, drawing Daredevil before taking over from Ditko on what was fast becoming Marvel’s most important book, Amazing Spider-Man. Romita’s slick, clean craftsmanship would be a hallmark of his tenure, and his years of drawing beautiful women in DC’s romance books paid off with iconic renderings of Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson and the other women in Peter Parker’s life.Reimagining New Mutants into X-Force was only the start for Rob Liefeld, one of the leaders of the 1990s comics revolution. After introducing both Cable and Deadpool, he launched an even bigger collaboration as one of the founders of Image Comics with his original property Youngblood. In 1996, he participated in Marvel’s multi-title Heroes Reborn event. Liefeld returned to Marvel fo an X-Force limited series and then revisited Heroes Reborn in Onslaught Reborn. Liefeld returned to his most famous co-creation with the graphic novel Deadpool: Bad Blood, its limited series sequel Deadpool: Badder Blood and the blockbuster Deadpool Team-Up, and introduced a new sensation in Major X.

Eisner Award-winning writer Greg Rucka is the author of nearly a dozen novels — seven featuring bodyguard Atticus Kodiak and three featuring Tara Chace, the protagonist of his Queen & Country comics. He has also penned several short stories, countless comics and the occasional nonfiction essay. In comics, he has written stories featuring some of the world’s best-known characters — Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman — as well as creator-owned properties such as Whiteout and Queen & Country, both published by Oni Press. His work has been optioned several times over, and his services are in high demand in a variety of creative fields as a story doctor and creative consultant.New York Times best-selling author Mark Waid has worked for every major company in the comics industry in a nearly three-decade-long career, writing thousands of issues, including runs of Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, Ka-Zar and Fantastic Four. His other works of note include his collaboration with painter Alex Ross on Kingdom Come, which earned an Eisner Award for Best Limited Series. Waid enjoyed his greatest outpouring of critical acclaim with the Eisner Award-winning Daredevil — which included a revered collaboration with frequent artistic partner Chris Samnee. He later took on such diverse pop-cultural icons as Princess Leia and Archie, and ushered in a new era of greatness for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in All-New, All-Different Avengers. His Marvel work continued with Avengers, Black Widow, Captain America, Champions and Doctor Strange.Marco Checchetto’s early contributions to revivals of Marvel Comics Presents and Squadron Supreme revealed him as one of the industry’s top new talents. Checchetto has made his mark on both the Marvel Universe — with runs on Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil and Punisher — and a galaxy far far away with Star Wars: Obi-Wan and Anakin and the post-Return of the Jedi thriller Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens — Shattered Empire.Michael Lark has teamed with writer Ed Brubaker on DC’s Gotham Central and the noir Scene of the Crime, as well as adding a timeworn elegance to the World War II flashbacks in Captain America. But his work with Brubaker on Daredevil set new highs — not only for their collaborative efforts, but for the narrative tapestry of Marvel’s Man Without Fear.Serbian artist Mirko Colak made his Marvel debut on writer Jonathan Hickman’s Secret Warriors and then collaborated with Greg Pak on the critically acclaimed miniseries Red Skull: Incarnate. Among his other credits is Ron Marz’s Russian Sunset, published by Desperado.A product of the vibrant Filipino comic scene, Mico Suayan’s first Marvel gig was a high-profile run on Moon Knight following noted artist David Finch. Suayan’s gritty pencils meshed well with writer Charlie Huston’s dark tone, and led to him being tapped to illustrate the Dead of Night featuring Werewolf by Night miniseries. He has gone on to work on several series including Immortal Weapons, Thor Annual, Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine and the What If?: Annihilation and Thor: Rage of Thor one-shots.Italian artist Carmine Di Giandomenico drew Zeb Wells’ gritty Daredevil: Battlin’ Jack Murdock limited series and visualized the highly stylized, street-level suspense of Spider-Man Noir with writers David Hine and Fabrice Sapolsky. With writer Greg Rucka, he pitted Frank Castle against the Avengers in Punisher: War Zone, and with Nick Spencer he illustrated the adventures of James Rhodes in Iron Man 2.0. He later united with Peter David to deliver a fresh take on a familiar team in All-New X-Factor for All-New Marvel NOW! and Marc Guggenheim for the Secret Wars tie-in series X-Tinction Agenda.

To raise money, he has the brilliant idea to write another book and sell it at school. So, he picks a topic he thinks lots of kids will like—animals. But when he starts to think about it, he wonders where do animals come from, and that leads him to wonder where life comes from and how animals evolve. Subjects range from the origins of life (primordial soup and life in early Earth—mostly scum/bacteria) to small organisms and fish to dinosaurs, of course! Mass extinctions. Cats, dogs, horses and chickens. And oh yes, people!Along with making his new book, Oliver’s also doing chores for neighbors to make money, including odd jobs for the old cat lady down the street, who, as it turns out, is a retired paleontologist. (Not just any paleontologist, but as it’s revealed later, a famous one.) As Oliver does chores for her, she fills him in on the history of life on earth.Meanwhile, Oliver is doing great with his group of friends. Classically trained at New York’s prestigious High School of Art and Design, Jimmy Palmiotti began his career as a comic-book inker, gaining a reputation as not only talented, but fast. Collaborating with fellow artist Joe Quesada, Palmiotti lent his skills to such projects as Batman: Sword of Azrael, The Ray and Ninjak. In 1995, Palmiotti and Quesada founded Event Comics, creating the memorable titles Ash and Painkiller Jane. This led to an offer from Marvel Comics to revamp several heroes under the Marvel Knights banner. With writer Kevin Smith and Quesada, Palmiotti’s work on Daredevil became a monumental success. Palmiotti later began to take on comic-book writing chores with a lengthy run on Harley Quinn along with his creator-owned books. After co-creating Image Comics’ Hyperkinetic with Howard M. Shum, Matteo Scalera moved to Marvel to pencil and ink issues of Deadpool Corps, Deadpool Team-Up and related titles before shifting to such team books as Secret Avengers and Wolverine & the X-Men. At Boom! Studios, he has provided art for Chris Roberson’s Starborn and Michael Alan Nelson’s Valen the Outcast, as well as covers for Mark Waid’s Irredeemable and Incorruptible.Frank Tieri entered the early part of the new century as writer on diverse titles such as Wolverine, Iron Man and Weapon X. His Hercules limited series cast the Avenger as a reality-TV star reliving his twelve trials, continuing the lighthearted legacy of Olympus’ favorite son. Tieri’s Underworld and Civil War: War Crimes explored the effects of the heroes’ registration fight on Marvel’s criminal element. World War Hulk: Gamma Corps followed the next generation of gamma-irradiated superhumans as they sought to kill the Hulk. And Dark Reign: Lethal Legion charted the crash-and-burn exploits of an ad hoc team of bad guys as they vainly sought to topple Norman Osborn from power. Tieri, whose Marvel credits also includes New Excalibur, explored Weirdworld in the pages of Black Knight.Artist Darick Robertson illustrated all sixty issues of Transmetropolitan with writer Warren Ellis. In the Fury limited series for Marvel, Robertson and Garth Ennis presented a graphically realistic vision of what it means to be the leader of the world’s biggest spy organization. Peter David is one of the industry’s most prolific and versatile writers whose record-breaking stint on Incredible Hulk remains a fan-favorite to this day. His similarly long-running — and critically acclaimed — association with X-Factor began in the early 1990s and continued in 2005 and 2014. His other Marvel work includes Captain Marvel, two lengthy stints on Spider-Man 2099, Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider and the smash-hit Symbiote Spider-Man limited series and its sequels with artist Greg Land. David is also a novelist and screenwriter. Among his credits are some forty Star Trek tie-ins; original novels such as Sir Apropos of Nothing, Howling Mad and Knight Life; movies Trancers 4 and Trancers 5; and episodes of Babylon 5 and Crusade. He also co-created the TV show Space Cases with actor-writer Bill Mumy.Bob Harras edited several titles as Ralph Macchio’s assistant, mostly tie-ins such as Micronauts, Rom, Saga of Crystar and U.S. 1. He subsequently became chief editor of the X-Men titles and wrote for multiple series, including a three-year run on Avengers. Graduating to editor in chief, he oversaw well-received runs of Captain America, Daredevil, Deadpool and other titles, as well as the controversial second Clone Saga in the 1990s’ Spider-Man titles. Harras has since worked as contributing editor at WildStorm and collected editions editor for DC Comics. He began a decade-long stint as DC’s editor in chief in 2010.Steve Englehart’s history-making contributions to the Marvel Universe began with the Beast’s solo feature in Amazing Adventures, in which the eloquent X-Man first assumed furry form. As Avengers writer, he masterminded such major events as “The Avengers/Defenders War†(in both teams’ titles) and “The Celestial Madonna Saga.†In Captain America, he identified and solved the “mystery†of the 1950s Captain America (later revived by Ed Brubaker), and gave the true Cap the alternate identity of Nomad. Englehart’s Dr. Strange storyline in Marvel Premiere established the character as Sorcerer Supreme and covered the creation of the universe itself. At DC, he helped revamp Batman, Green Lantern, Superman and other major heroes for the 1970s. Back at Marvel, he wrote the first few years of West Coast Avengers and Silver Surfer. His published novels include Countdown to Flight, Hellstorm (part of the TALON Force series), Majorca, The Point Man and, with wife Terry Beach, books in the DNAgers young-adult series. Englehart has also written TV episodes and designed video games.Jeff Purves was born in Japan in 1961; his family later moved to the United States, settling in Cheyenne, Wyoming. While studying as an artist, Purves got a job at Marvel Productions in California doing storyboard cleanup, beginning his successful career in animation working for studios including Warner Brothers, Walt Disney and Hanna-Barbera. In comics, he is best remembered for his lengthy collaboration with Peter David on Incredible Hulk.Alex Saviuk established himself as a major Marvel artist with a seven-year run on Web of Spider-Man. He also worked on the animated-series tie-in Spider-Man Adventures and drew the Amazing Spider-Man comic strip from scripts by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber. At DC, he penciled and inked Flash, Green Lantern, Superman and other titles. Keith Pollard drew simultaneous runs on three of Marvel’s longest-running titles: Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and Thor, including Roy Thomas and Mark Gruenwald’s “Eternals Saga.†During the 1990s, he singlehandedly penciled hundreds of characters for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Master Edition.Beginning as Stan Lee’s production assistant, Herb Trimpe (1939-2015) went on to pencil a seven-year run on Marvel mainstay Incredible Hulk — during which he debuted the future X-Man, Wolverine — as well as 1970s classics Marvel Team-Up, Shogun Warriors and Godzilla. He was equally prolific during the 1980s on Nick Fury, The ’Nam and G.I. Joe; the 1990s saw him illustrate Marvel’s First Family on Fantastic Four Unlimited. Trimpe’s war-story credits also include the introduction of the Phantom Eagle, the WWI aviator hero whose adventures were later chronicled by Garth Ennis.
