esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Writer J. Michael Straczynski made pop-culture history with the epic TV series Babylon 5. In 1999, Straczynski penned Top Cow’s Rising Stars, leading to an offer from Marvel to write Amazing Spider-Man, a title he revolutionized. “JMS†went on to write Supreme Power, Fantastic Four, Bullet Points, The Twelve and a fan-favorite revival of Thor. The latter helped inspire Marvel’s Thor feature film, on which he shares a writing credit. JMS’ screenplay for Changeling was directed by Clint Eastwood and starred Angelina Jolie, while his other movie credits include Underworld: Awakening and World War Z. For DC Comics, he has written iconic characters Superman and Wonder Woman.Peter David is one of the industry’s most prolific and versatile writers whose record-breaking stint on Incredible Hulk remains a fan-favorite to this day. His similarly long-running — and critically acclaimed — association with X-Factor began in the early 1990s and continued in 2005 and 2014. His other Marvel work includes Captain Marvel, two lengthy stints on Spider-Man 2099, Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider and the smash-hit Symbiote Spider-Man limited series and its sequels with artist Greg Land. David is also a novelist and screenwriter. Among his credits are some forty Star Trek tie-ins; original novels such as Sir Apropos of Nothing, Howling Mad and Knight Life; movies Trancers 4 and Trancers 5; and episodes of Babylon 5 and Crusade. He also co-created the TV show Space Cases with actor-writer Bill Mumy.Hollywood writer Reginald Hudlin launched his career with the blockbuster House Party; his follow-up Boomerang grossed more than $150 million. Hudlin developed Bebe’s Kids, the first mainstream animated feature film aimed at African-American audiences, and served as BET’s President of Entertainment. In 2005, Hudlin wrote Birth of a Nation, a satirical graphic novel produced with Boondocks creator Aaron McGruder and award-winning cartoonist Kyle Baker. A longtime Marvel fan, Hudlin jumped at the opportunity to write Black Panther, as well as a run on Marvel Knights Spider-Man.Artist Mike Deodato Jr. was already a renowned illustrator in his native Brazil when he got his big break in American comics in 1994, illustrating DC’s Wonder Woman. For Marvel, he drew such series as Avengers, Elektra, Spider-Man and Incredible Hulk. After refining his inimitable style on the creator-owned Jade Warriors, he returned to Marvel for a second turn on Incredible Hulk, with writer Bruce Jones, and a stint on J. Michael Straczynski’s Amazing Spider-Man. Deodato has forged an association with the Avengers on various titles — including collaborations with Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker and Jonathan Hickman — and demonstrated his superstar status on the event book Original Sin. Deodato joined writer Jeff Lemire in exploring one of Marvel's greatest villains in Thanos. The late Mike Wieringo established himself as one of the leading artists in the comic-book industry with his work with writer Mark Waid on DC’s Flash during a run that included the debut of Impulse. Wieringo’s continued collaboration with Waid brought him to Fantastic Four in 2002; the pair kicked off their tenure with a history-making nine-cent first issue. Wieringo’s ability to translate dynamic action to the comic-book page made him uniquely suited to launch Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man in 2005 with writer Peter David.Pat Lee is best known for bringing the look and feel of Japanese anime to American comics. He provided artwork for the Marvel Knights Spider-Man chapters of “The Other†crossover.

Have you ever wondered why our brightly colored and joyously cheerful Christmas festivities are held at the peak of winter’s frigid darkness? That is no mere coincidence—and now the truth about the monsters the yuletide holds at bay will finally be revealed in a gleaming gift of epic holiday adventure from creators George Northy (EC’s Shiver SuspenStories) and Rachele Aragno (Leonide the Vampyr)!Welcome to the small town of Christmas, Pennsylvania—the merriest place on Earth . . . or so they’d like everyone to think. When December rolls around, these folks pull out all the stops for America’s biggest, brightest holiday display . . . but not everyone in Christmas, PA, is so enthusiastic. Teens Jake, Abe, and Wyn are more interested in the dark side of the holiday that their parents like to pretend doesn’t exist . . . the ancient legends of mythic monsters and pagan pandemonium that are deeply tied to the festival’s long-forgotten origins. So when their hobby leads them to an abandoned wing of the local Christmas museum to investigate, they’ll discover an ancient relic that, when activated, will bring a furious procession of yuletide horrors long since banished from our plane—and with it, a darkness that has been waiting centuries for its chance to overtake the world! In the tradition of The Goonies, Hocus Pocus, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, Yuletide: Curse of the Winter Witch is a haunting holiday tale unleashing a monstrous new kind of seasonal tradition on readers young and old!
George Northy is writer and producer of film, TV and comics best known for writing the cult teen comedy feature G.B.F. and for series like MTV's Faking It, the CW's Charmed and XO Kitty on Netflix. He has sold and written many TV pilots over the years and is currently writing a feature film at a major streamer. In addition to actively developing the film version of YULETIDE, he is currently working on projects across a variety of genres and is excited to next be partnering with Oni Press once again for a supernatural whodunnit comic series slated to be released 2026. Alex Ross, the award-winning and bestselling creator of Marvels, Kingdom Come, and Fantastic Four: Full Circle, takes readers through the Marvel Universe-but all is not as it seems. Marvel Dimensions includes a bonus 32-page comic and is legendary artist Alex Ross' second book in the Marvel Arts series, following the national bestselling, critically acclaimed, and award-winning Fantastic Four: Full Circle. The story opens with a sweeping tour through the classic origins of Marvel's most iconic characters. Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Wolverine, and many others appear in dramatic, fully painted spreads that echo their earliest stories. A narrator describes each moment with confidence, guiding the reader through these touchstones of Marvel's history. But as the story moves forward, the tone begins to shift. The voice behind the narration is not who the readers expect and carries a motive that slowly pushes the narrative somewhere darker and far more unpredictable. Once this change becomes clear, the book expands into something larger and more surprising. Storylines twist in on themselves, characters behave in unexpected ways, and events ripple across the Marvel Universe with growing tensions. Ross uses the structure of the book to create anticipation and pull the reader deeper into a mystery that keeps widening. Every new sequence reveals another layer, building toward a final act that reframes everything that came before it. A bonus 32-page comic book is included that is pivotal to the storyline. With Marvel Dimensions, Ross approaches the Marvel Universe from a new angle with new character invention that invites readers to question what they think and what they know. Marvel Dimensions may be the latest title in the Marvel Arts line . . . but it is only the beginning (112 pages, 279 x 216mm) (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

Adjusting to life as a vampire is hard. No matter how eager her roommate is to see Syd fully embrace her role as creature of the night, these new cravings and all that come with them are a lot more challenging than popular myths would have you believe. Yet, new victims keep sliding into her DMs, and the worst of New York’s dating pool are laying their heads on the proverbial chopping block. What Syd can’t anticipate, though, are the rather gruesome changes her own prey will go through after she’s drained them of life. Oh...and what about that cute rideshare driver she met in the first issue? There are some totally different cravings happening there. This new five-issue limited series from Joanne Starer, the new writer of Harley Quinn, and Khary Randolph, artist for DC’s newly announced Vixen series, is perfect for fans of Shaun of the Dead, Fright Night, and 1980s romantic comedies.

INFINITE BULLETS. ZERO F#@KS! Oni Press and Flux House proudly present the concussive first volume of the action comic so extreme, it might just catch fire—welcome to FORT PSYCHO!Ten years ago, the nation of Singapore sank into the Pacific Ocean. The underground network known as the Seven Seals took credit for the largest act of terror in human history. In the aftermath, the United Nations created a strike team of highly trained covert operatives with one mission: locate, identify, and eliminate the Seven Seals' secretive leader. The team's clandestine affairs were to always remain in the shadows—until their final, explosive confrontation with the Seven Seals resulted in a large-scale tragedy too bloody to cover up and too tragic to ignore. Disgraced and disavowed by the governments that trained them, the world’s most dangerous secret agents have been convicted for their crimes and sentenced to serve time side-by-side in the one place capable of holding them: their old island headquarters, Fort Cyclone—now known in the media by the derogatory nickname “Fort Psycho.â€And that’s where the official story is about to go terribly, terribly wrong. From master storytellers Matt Kindt (BRZKR, Mind MGMT) and Brian Hurtt (The Sixth Gun), Mission: Impossible meets Lost on a tropical island paradise stocked with trained killers, secret betrayals, and the long-buried truth about the mission that brought them there. Always remember: There is nothing deadlier than an ally turned enemy.Collects Fort Psycho #1–4.

***The Lunar Exclusive Edition includes: A high quality exclusive print of the sketch for the regular edition cover Acetate Sleeve Alex Ross, the award-winning and bestselling creator of Marvels, Kingdom Come, and Fantastic Four: Full Circle, takes readers through the Marvel Universe—but all is not as it seems Marvel Dimensions is legendary artist Alex Ross’ second book in the Marvel Arts series, following the national bestselling, critically acclaimed, and award-winning Fantastic Four: Full Circle. The story opens with a sweeping tour through the classic origins of Marvel’s most iconic characters. Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Wolverine, and many others appear in dramatic, fully painted spreads that echo their earliest stories. A narrator describes each moment with confidence, guiding the reader through these touchstones of Marvel’s history. Marvel Dimensions may be the latest title in the Marvel Arts line . . . but it is only the beginning. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

Her major editorial credits include Star Wars and Uncanny X-Men. At DC, she wrote multiple Superman titles and became one of the main creative forces behind the “Death of Superman” saga; her scripts also appeared in Detective Comics, New Titans and more. Her later Marvel work includes the limited series Jean Grey and Power Pack: Into the Storm. After achieving industry acclaim for DC’s award-winning “Manhunter” feature in Detective Comics, Walter Simonson moved to Marvel where he introduced multiple characters and concepts from both myth and outer space during his revered run scripting and penciling Thor. He collaborated with his wife, Louise, on both X-Factor and Wildstorm’s World of Warcraft, later returning to Marvel to illustrate Brian Michael Bendis’ Avengers. In addition to illustrating annuals for New Mutants, X-Factor and X-Force, Terry Shoemaker helped conclude the “Heroes Reborn” version of Iron Man and contributed to the armored Avenger’s subsequent relaunch. He also penciled Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes for DC, CyberRad for Continuity and Zealot for Image, as well as several Wildstorm stories.Industry giant Marc Silvestri entered the upper echelon of comics innovators in the late ’80s during fan-favorite, record-breaking runs on Uncanny X-Men and Wolverine.
