esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

A beautiful puzzle celebration of the beloved children's classic. The Secret Garden is the first of a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle series, each centred on the opening lines of a classic novel. In this brand-new illustration, Emily Sutton celebrates the story of Mary Lennox, the unloved orphan whose discovery of a neglected garden behind a locked door changes the lives of everyone around her. Emily Sutton's charming illustration will delight nostalgic puzzlers. At its centre are the opening lines of the story, as if hand-written by the author, beautifully bringing words and image together – and making this the ideal gift for any blbliophile or bookshop browser. Hungry bridge trolls, limousine werewolves, and other absurd characters populate these delightfully irreverent gag cartoons from the golden days of webcomics.Beginning at the dawn of the new millennium, the animator Brad Neely materialized as one of the funnier voices on the internet. Youtube hits like the foul-mouthed George Washington, his demented audiobook retelling of Harry Potter in Wizard People, Dear Readers, and the alarmingly prescient Adult Swim TV show China, IL (starring the voices of both Greta Gerwig and Hulk Hogan) all reveal how Neely captured a kind of freewheeling online spirit that is fading fast.During this ascent, Neely was also quietly mastering another form, the webcomic, where he spliced together historical figures, fairy tales, wildlife, and absurd gag setups into truly laugh-out-loud cartoons: hungry bridge trolls ready to devour local “chappies”; Caesar’s real killer (Jeffrey); the Boo-Boo Maker; limousine werewolves; superheroes trying and failing to rescue Christ; and more eye-blasting thrills.Gathered here for the first time along with Neely’s reflections about his work, Creased Comics is a portal into a truly individual creative mind, and a snapshot of some of the best days for webcomics.
Brad Neely is a writer and comic artist best known for his underground Harry Potter spoof, Wizard People, Dear Reader; his work on television series such as China, IL; and his webcomic series, Creased Comics. His first novel, You, Me, and Ulysses S. Grant, was published in 2024.

Writer Ryan North went the self-publishing route to launch his comics career with Dinosaur Comics, which has run for more than 2,000 web-based strips. He describes it as basically the best job ever. In 2012, he was tapped by BOOM! Studios to write its new Adventure Time series based on the popular cartoon. His Marvel debut came in 2014 when he penned the Young Avengers chapters of Original Sins. North propelled an unlikely character to solo title success with the Eisner Award-winning series The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and took Lockjaw solo in the pages of Inhumans: Once and Future Kings. He rewrote the Shakespeare rulebook with Romeo and/or Juliet: A Chooseable-Path Adventure.Chip Zdarsky became well-known as the artist of the award-winning Sex Criminals and the writer of Kaptara, both from Image Comics. Howard the Duck was his first Marvel series, soon followed by books including Marvel 2-in-One and Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man. Now one of the leading writers in comics, Zdarsky has wowed readers with his Daredevil run; limited series such as X-Men/Fantastic Four, Spider-Man: Life Story and Spider-Man: Spider’s Shadow; and creative covers including his “How to Draw” variants.Canadian writer Jed MacKay has built an extensive list of credits at Marvel — including such titles as Edge of Spider-Geddon, Infinity Wars: Ghost Panther, Daughters of the Dragon and Man Without Fear. His career caught fire in 2019 with Black Cat, a character-defining phenomenon. MacKay has built on that success with his highly entertaining take on Taskmaster; a high-profile relaunch of Moon Knight; and Death of Doctor Strange, which led Clea to become the new Sorcerer Supreme in Strange. With his profile continuing to rise, MacKay took on two of Marvel’s biggest titles, Avengers and X-Men, while helming his first big crossover event in Blood Hunt.Frank Tieri entered the early part of the new century as writer on diverse titles such as Wolverine, Iron Man and Weapon X. His Hercules limited series cast the Avenger as a reality-TV star reliving his twelve trials, continuing the lighthearted legacy of Olympus’ favorite son. Tieri’s Underworld and Civil War: War Crimes explored the effects of the heroes’ registration fight on Marvel’s criminal element. World War Hulk: Gamma Corps followed the next generation of gamma-irradiated superhumans as they sought to kill the Hulk. And Dark Reign: Lethal Legion charted the crash-and-burn exploits of an ad hoc team of bad guys as they vainly sought to topple Norman Osborn from power. Tieri, whose Marvel credits also includes New Excalibur, explored Weirdworld in the pages of Black Knight.Acclaimed author and screenwriter Benjamin Percy broke into comics in 2014 with a two-issue Batman story arc in Detective Comics. He is also known for his work on Nightwing, Green Arrow and Teen Titans for DC Comics, and James Bond: Black Box for Dynamite Entertainment. Percy wrote two seasons of Marvel’s Wolverine podcast series: Wolverine: The Long Night, which was listed as one of the top fifteen podcasts of the year by Apple and won the iHeart Radio Award for best scripted podcast in 2018, and Wolverine: The Lost Trail. In print, he was a key contributor to the X-Men’s Krakoan Era as writer of X-Force and Wolverine. Percy blazed a new trail for the Spirit of Vengeance with his deliciously dark revival of Ghost Rider and pitted some of Marvel’s greatest heroes against the iconic movie hunters, the Predators. After the mash-up concept Hellverine proved a smash hit in Percy’s Wolverine/Ghost Rider: Weapons of Vengeance crossover, the writer launched a Hellverine limited series followed by an ongoing series — with Wolverine’s son, Akihiro, assuming the mantle. And Percy was the ideal choice to unite the ultimate odd couple in the pages of Deadpool/Wolverine.Rainbow Rowell writes books about adults (Attachments, Landline), about teenagers (Eleanor & Park, Fangirl) and, whenever possible, about lovesick vampires and guys with dragon wings. (The Simon Snow Trilogy). She has ventured into the comic-book field, with her first graphic novel, Pumpkinheads, and a hugely enjoyable reinvigoration of Marvel’s teen heroes, Runaways. Rowell lives in Omaha, Nebraska.R.B. Silva is a Brazilian artist who built his reputation at DC Comics on titles including Superboy, Red Hood and the Outlaws, World’s Finest and Action Comics. Collecting the Milk and Cheese, Eltingville Club, and Dork by Eisner, Harvey, and Ignatz award-winning comics creator Evan Dorkin. Collected for the first time in an affordable omnibus edition. The entire Eltingville Club saga. Every Milk and Cheese comic. All the fun strips, gag panels and stories from Dork. The entire shebang is now available in one big-ass Omnibus edition, a staggering display of satire, silliness, and stupidity featuring all the Eisner, Harvey, and Ignatz award-winning humor comics by semi-esteemed and somewhat-beloved cartoonist Evan Dorkin. It's going to sell out and you will cry if you don't get a copy, so get to it, kids (This message was approved by Evan's therapist). For mature audiences. “Evan's calcium-rich creations are guaranteed to spread lactose intolerance everywhere."—David Mazzucchelli (Asterios Polyp, Batman: Year One)“Milk and Cheese is the cream of the comic crop, a butter-bomb of hilarity, and one other lactose-based metaphor.”—Patton Oswalt (Ratatouille, Minor Threats)“Dorkin is a powerful man, and this is powerful stuff—you buy this book, you’ll black out, probably wake up in prison. But don’t let that stop you.”—Bryan Lee O’Malley (Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life)

Evan Dorkin is an American comics artist and writer. His most well-known works are the comic books Milk and Cheese and Dork. His comics often poke fun at fandom, even while making it clear that Dorkin is a fan himself. As well as his comics work, Dorkin has also written for animation, including (with his wife Sarah Dyer, also a comics writer/artist) Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. He also wrote and produced Bring me the Head of Boba Fett, an animated television pilot for Adult Swim called Welcome to Eltingville, based on his own characters. Dorkin and Dyer also wrote some episodes of the Superman animated series, particularly the episode "Live Wire," which introduced a new character of the same name. Additionally, the pair contributed to the script of the 2006 English-language version of the anime Shin Chan. After an initial six-episode order proved successful, more episodes were ordered, but Dorkin and Dyer are no longer working on the series. Dorkin has been the recipient of several Eisner Awards, including 2002's Best Writer/Artist: Humor.
