esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Soon to be a television series produced and showrunner by Ryan Murphy and premiering on FX this fall, the smash-hit comic The Beauty returns to comic shops with a brand-new volume. Set in a world not unlike our own, The Beauty chronicles what happens when a new sexually transmitted disease begins to spread. Only, this is a disease that people actually want, as those who contract it are literally changed into more beautiful versions of themselves. The only hitch is a slight fever and, eventually, death. But isn’t that an easy price to pay to be gorgeous? This new series follows several characters as they deal with the Beauty and how it has changed society around them. A thief for hire on a dangerous job, a meteorologist with plummeting ratings, and special agents specializing in Beauty-related crimes will all find their lives converging in unexpected ways. And some fan favorite characters from the original series will return, as well. The Beauty is written by co-creators Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley, and this time around they are joined by superstar artist Ema Lupacchino (World’s Finest: Teen Titans) for an intriguing morality play that blends crime, horror, and action for a comic book unlike any other. All the B variants for the series will feature a cover by series artist Lupacchino and colorist Leonardo Paciarotti (Edenwood)!

Writer/artist Jeremy Haun is a prolific, fan-favorite comic book writer and artist who has worked with numerous publishers and characters, ranging from Batman to Captain America to Spawn, in a career spanning 20-plus years. He is best known for creator-owned properties such as The Beauty and The Realm published by Image Comics, and The Red Mother and The Approach, both from BOOM! Studios. He is creative director of Ignition Press and the host of the video podcast Curious Haunts. Jason A. Hurley has been in comic book retail for over two decades, but The Beauty was his first foray into making his own. In addition to comic books, he loves pro wrestling, bad horror movies, Freddie Mercury, hummingbirds, his parents, and pizza. While he’s never actually tried it, he also thinks curling looks like a hell of a lot of fun. Hurley claims his personal heroes are Earl Bassett and Valentine McKee, because they live a life of adventure on their own terms. He also claims that he would brain anyone who showed even the most remote signs of becoming a cannibalistic undead bastard, including his own brother, without a second thought. He’s lived in Joplin, Missouri, for most of his life, and never plans to leave. A former biotechnology researcher, Ema Lupacchino transitioned into comics and has worked on several Italian series, including L'insonne. Alongside her work as a comic book artist, she also illustrated role-playing game manuals. In the North American market, she has worked for many of the major publishers including Marvel, DC, IDW, Dark Horse, Image, and Dynamite on titles that include Wonder Woman, Birds of Prey, Star Trek/Doctor Who, and X-Factor among many others. Throughout her career she has contributed designs, illustrations, and concepts for statues, action figures, theme park graphics, and media promotional campaigns. She was most recently the artist on World’s Finest: Teen Titans and Shazam! with Mark Waid.

Slamming her way out of the pages of the recent Jennifer Blood series, Italian assassin Giulietta Romeo stars in 'La Tempesta,' a noirish reimagining of the William Shakespeare play the Tempest. Giulietta is being extradited to Italy after the events of the 'Bountiful' storyline when her plane is shot down over a remote island in the Atlantic, a former Nazi stronghold that is now the tiny kingdom of a man named Prospero, a former duke of the Naples mobs. His brother, the man who usurped his position, was being extradited on that same plane, and Giulietta finds herself in the middle of a gory blood feud and fighting for her life against Prospero's monstrous servants, Caliban and Ariel. Written by Harvey Pekar Art by David Lapham, Chris Weston, Dean Haspiel, Hilary Barta, John Lucas, Zachary Baldus and Ed Piskor Cover by Philip Bond In 2006, comics legend Harvey Pekar brought his unsparing tales of ordinary life to Vertigo with an all-new run of AMERICAN SPLENDOR, the comic that, 30 years earlier, rose 'from the streets of Cleveland' and changed how we look at comics. Often imitated but never duplicated, Pekar proved that he still has the power to 'make mundane reality seem like the highest drama' (Entertainment Weekly) in his critically acclaimed Vertigo series. Now, Harvey Pekar is back with an all-new series of AMERICAN SPLENDOR, featuring his funniest, most poignant, somber and uplifting stories from the complex life of an ordinary man. Once again, the Vertigo AMERICAN SPLENDOR pairs Harvey with some of the most exciting, innovative artists currently in comics, including in this special premiere issue, David Lapham (YOUNG LIARS, Stray Bullets), Chris Weston (THE FILTH, Fantastic Four), Dean Haspiel (THE QUITTER, Brawl), Mike Hawthorne (THE UN-MEN, Queen and Country), John Lucas (THE EXTERMINATORS) and other luminaries from both the mainstream and indie worlds. In this issue, they join Harvey to chronicle his battles with stubborn sofas, short sighted magazine writers, treacherous front doorsteps and many more obstacles for Harvey to overcome in his pursuit of a fulfilling and meaningful existence. 'Pekar's ability to find the exceptional in the everyday has matured and blossomed over time.' - Publisher's Weekly On sale April 2 (immagine) Categoria: Comics

Dynamite Entertainment is proud to present the return of the acclaimed BATTLEFIELDS series by writer Garth Ennis! Beginning this month, with the debut of HAPPY VALLEY #1 (of 3), featuring art by Paul Jason Holden and series covers by Garry Leach! England, January 1942: young Australian Ken Harding arrives at his first operational squadron, keen to play his part in the aerial attack on Germany as the commander of a bomber crew. Losses have been high and life expectancy is low, but Ken remains undaunted- until he meets his crew, a foulmouthed, battle-hardened bunch with no time for new boys who can't stand the pace. Together, they must take the war to the enemy over the most heavily-defended region of the Third Reich- the industrial heartland of the Ruhr, known to the men who face the flak and nightfighters as Happy Valley.
