esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

This entertaining graphic novel from award winner Dan Brown will get kids talking, since it's all about the history of dealing with poop, pee, and dirty hands.Part of the Big Ideas That Changed the World graphic novel series, this full-color book is appropriate for the classroom and includes a timeline, endnotes, and a bibliography. In 1895, an engineer named George Waring was appointed New York City’s first commissioner of street cleaning. His task? To make a city with millions of people livable.Narrated by Waring, Keep It Clean! explores the concept of public health, which means ensuring clean water and adequate sewage disposal for everyone, and covers topics such as personal hygiene, sewer systems, and chemical water treatment.Acclaimed author-illustrator Don Brown takes readers on a journey through history and around the world, from Greek, Roman, and Aztec aqueducts and the dawn of bathing (including social public bathing in Japan and religious bathing ceremonies in Machu Picchu) to the invention of soap in the Middle East, the first use of flush toilets approximately 4,000 years ago, and the first toilets used in outer space—a Big Idea when you consider that early astronauts on Apollo 11 had none!Full of facts and colorful historical figures, Brown chronicles both historical mishaps—like rivers full of human waste and King Henry VI’s notorious basement of poop—and monumental scientific breakthroughs including Louis Pasteur and Robert Koch’s discovery of the link between microbes (germs) and disease.Brown also highlights how social classes became divided not only by wealth and culture but also by smell, and calls attention to modern-day health crises.Today, nearly two billion people around the world live without clean water and about 3.6 billion people—nearly half of the world’s population—live without proper sanitation. Breaking down concepts in an accessible, kid-friendly way, this nonfiction graphic novel shows why “keeping it clean†is vitally important whether it’s a city, town, home, or person.Big Ideas That Changed the World is a graphic novel series that celebrates the hard-won succession of ideas that ultimately changed the world. Humor, drama, and art unite to tell the story of events, discoveries, and ingenuity over time that led humans to come up with a big idea and then make it come true.More from the Big Ideas That Changed the World series:Rocket to the Moon! A haunting tale from Stephanie Williams (Nubia & the Amazons) and Letizia Cadonici (House of Slaughter). At the turn of the 20th century, a young Black woman named Etta picks up the tradition of her late mother for creating special medicines using natural ingredients and secrets handed down from generation to generation. Her mother has passed on a book of recipes and formulas, but it’s also full of strange symbols and dark musings that she doesn’t quite understand. Within her community, one of the problems she hopes to fix is counteracting the poisonous and abrasive solutions Black women and girls are sold for straightening their hair. So, when the Meridian Fellowship reaches out and offers her a spot at their institute in Savannah, GA, to use their facilities to do her research, Etta jumps at the chance. She packs up her mother’s book and heads to the sprawling establishment, but what she finds is a place surrounded by natural wonders that may point the way to understanding the more mysterious parts of her mother’s work…if dark forces don’t claim her first. Inspired by the life of Madame CJ Walker, this alternate history combines tradition with cosmic horror for something truly modern and unique. All the B variants for the series will feature a cover by series artist Cadonici and colorist Alessandro Santoro!

A lawyer by training, he lives in Los Angeles with his husband and the true masterminds behind their operation--their adopted greyhounds.Aviv Or (she/her) is an illustrator and comic artist, living in London, UK, and definitely should be getting out more to enjoy that fact. She started drawing seriously around age 13, when she realised she could never become one of the X-Men herself, so drawing it would be the next best thing.Nowadays she works mainly in and around tabletop roleplaying games: creating artwork for books, designing characters for streams, and illustrating comics. She is also the co-creator of the webcomic Crystal Heart, about – you guessed it – roleplaying games. Her portfolio is at avivor.com, and she shares art, makes silly word games, and smashes the Like button on pictures of food and adorable animals as @avivor on Bluesky.

Kevin Eastman began drawing as soon as he was able to hold a crayon. His discovery of comic books gave meaning to his crazed doodling. When Kevin discovered and studied the work of Jack Kirby, Russ Heath, Richard Corben, Vaughn Bode and John Severin, he began to hone his craft. His first published work appeared in 1980, a year or so before he met Peter Laird. In May 1984, he and Laird published Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1, creating the hit heroes in a half-shell.Tom Waltz is a former active duty U.S. Marine, Desert Storm vet, and former California National Guard Military Policeman. He is the Manager, Creative Development/Senior Editor for premiere comic book publisher IDW Publishing, as well as the writer of critically-acclaimed graphic novels, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Last Fall, Children Of The Grave, Finding Peace, After The Fire, multiple Silent Hill comics and others.
