esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

With a writing resume stretching across the romance, sword-and-sorcery, and Western genres, Denny O’Neil wrote four years of Iron Man — including some of the title’s most sweeping changes. His additional Marvel work includes runs on Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil and Power Man and Iron Fist, as well as the one-shot X-Men: Heroes for Hope. At DC, his groundbreaking Green Lantern/Green Arrow run earned him four Shazam Awards. He also wrote and often revamped such mainstays as Batman (where he co-created Ra’s al Ghul), Flash, Superman and Wonder Woman, as well as adaptations of classic pulp heroes Doc Savage, Justice, Inc. and The Shadow. During the 1980s, he oversaw the groundbreaking death of Robin (Jason Todd). He has written multiple Batman graphic novels and novelizations, as well as The DC Comics Guide to Writing Comics.Michael Fleisher notched an indelible place in comics history in 1974, writing a series of Spectre stories that were some of the most graphically violent tales ever published at the time. During that time, Fleisher also collaborated with Steve Ditko on Shade the Changing Man, an offbeat hero bearing a reality-altering M-Vest.Multiple Eisner Award-winner Frank Miller broke into the comics business during the late 1970s, landing a choice assignment on the series Daredevil. His work quickly made the title one of Marvel’s best-selling series, as well as establishing Miller as a fan-favorite superstar. During his tenure on Daredevil, he introduced the assassin Elektra, who became a major Marvel character in her own right. After completing his initial run, Miller returned to Daredevil as writer of the acclaimed “Born Again” run with artist David Mazzucchelli; he then collaborated with John Romita Jr. for the Daredevil: Man Without Fear limited series. Miller has also had monumental success with his work on other iconic characters. In 1986, he made a splash at DC with the wildly popular and hugely influential Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, which told the tale of an older Batman still fighting crime decades after his prime. The following year, Miller reteamed with David Mazzucchelli for Batman: Year One, putting a modern spin on Batman’s classic origin story. Miller writes All Star Batman & Robin with artist Jim Lee, continuing to put his distinctive mark on the Dark Knight. Miller has parlayed his talents as a comic-book creator to major success in Hollywood. In 2005, Miller collaborated with Robert Rodriquez to co-direct Sin City, a film that was widely praised by both fans and critics. Two years later, Miller’s 300 met with similar success, breaking multiple box-office records. Miller wrote and directed The Spirit, based on Will Eisner’s classic hero.John Romita Jr. is a modern-day comic-art master, following in his legendary father’s footsteps. Timeless runs on Iron Man, Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man and Daredevil established him as his own man artistically, and his work on Wolverine and World War Hulk is among the most explosive comic art of the 21st century. In addition to Eternals with writer Neil Gaiman, JRJR teamed with Mark Millar on the creator-owned Kick-Ass, later developed into a blockbuster feature film starring Nicolas Cage. Spidey fans rejoiced at the artist’s return to Amazing Spider-Man with the “Brand New Day” storylines “New Ways To Die” and “Character Assassination.” He later helped relaunch Avengers with writer Brian Michael Bendis and Captain America with Rick Remender, and contributed to the blockbuster crossover Avengers vs. X-Men. For DC Comics, he drew big-name characters such as Superman, Batman and the Suicide Squad before making a welcome return home to Marvel and Amazing Spider-Man.

Tom DeFalco’s earliest comic-book scripts were for Archie and DC; he soon moved to Marvel, where he wrote Avengers, Machine Man and other titles, also launching Dazzler, a hit series of the early ’80s. In addition to writing long and well-received runs on Amazing Spider-Man and Thor, DeFalco edited many titles, eventually becoming editor in chief. During the 1980s, he headed the creative team that provided fictional biographies for G.I. Joe members, originally included with Hasbro’s toys and later used as the basis for multiple storylines on the animated series. Perhaps his best-known work is multi-title character Spider-Girl, whom he introduced in 1998. DeFalco has authored multiple books, including Ultimate Guides for Avengers, Fantastic Four, Hulk and Spider-Man.Few can match Ron Frenz’s record of substantial stints on two of comicdom’s most influential and revered characters, Spider-Man and Superman, both of whom he provided with controversial new looks. Frenz succeeded John Romita Jr. on Amazing Spider-Man, and his artwork was favorably compared to Steve Ditko’s original web-slinger. With Roger Stern, he introduced the Hobgoblin, covering the mysterious villain’s debut and revealing his identity more than a decade later in Hobgoblin Lives. With writer Tom DeFalco on Thor, Frenz debuted a new look and identity for Marvel’s Thunder God, eventually branching into Thunderstrike. Later, Frenz and DeFalco launched the MC2 Universe, home of Spider-Girl, the only Marvel heroine to reach one hundred consecutive issues.

He spent the first twenty years of his career working as a satirical cartoonist until he got fed up of trying to do good caricatures of politicians. In 2014, he started his digital science-fiction series UNIVERSE! that is published at Panel Syndicate, along with many other amazing comics. In 2017, he was the artist for Solid State, a graphic novel by Matt Fraction that adapted the songs of Jonathan Coulton. From horror legend R.L. Stine (Goosebumps, Fear Street) comes a fresh, one-and-done nightmare framed by the Nightmare Keeper, with chilling visuals by comics artist Matthew Dunn. A broke dad steals a “valuable” stuffed black cat from his mother’s coffin, dumps her three real black cats at the pound, and gets hunted by the kind of bad luck you can’t outrun.Harvey Goodwin is unemployed, desperate, and convinced his late mother’s antique stuffed cat, Lucy, is his ticket back to stability. Hazel asked for two promises: care for her three black cats and bury her with Lucy. Harvey breaks both.Pocketing Lucy during the funeral, caging the cats, and leaving them at the pound, the haunting starts. Cat cries flood his car stereo, his ears bleed, and reality begins to “swap” out from under him.A darkly funny morality tale about what people do when they feel cornered by money, responsibility, and loss, it taps into the evergreen horror pleasure of “the curse that fits the crime,” with black-cat folklore turned into a relentless, escalating punishment.
