esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Howard Mackie got his start at Marvel during the late 1980s as an editor and then a writer. One of his first series as full-time scribe was 1990’s massively popular Ghost Rider, which introduced the alter ego Danny Ketch to the mythos of the Spirit of Vengeance. He also wrote prolifically in the Spider-Man and X-Men titles of the ’90s.Mark Texeira worked on Marvel’s New Universe titles, including Psi-Force and Kickers, Inc., and other books — but his reputation caught fire in the early 1990s as a revamped Ghost Rider returned the character to fan-favorite status. Texeira helped introduce Black Panther to Marvel Knights in an acclaimed run, and his art has long been a regular sight for Marvel readers — particularly on gritty characters like Wolverine, Moon Knight, Punisher and a return to Ghost Rider.John Romita Jr. is a modern-day comic-art master, following in his legendary father’s footsteps. Timeless runs on Iron Man, Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man and Daredevil established him as his own man artistically, and his work on Wolverine and World War Hulk is among the most explosive comic art of the 21st century. In addition to Eternals with writer Neil Gaiman, JRJR teamed with Mark Millar on the creator-owned Kick-Ass, later developed into a blockbuster feature film starring Nicolas Cage. Spidey fans rejoiced at the artist’s return to Amazing Spider-Man with the “Brand New Day” storylines “New Ways To Die” and “Character Assassination.” He later helped relaunch Avengers with writer Brian Michael Bendis and Captain America with Rick Remender, and contributed to the blockbuster crossover Avengers vs. X-Men. For DC Comics, he drew big-name characters such as Superman, Batman and the Suicide Squad before making a welcome return home to Marvel and Amazing Spider-Man.

Chicago in the 1990s—a city of crime that means good business for two young women: bounty hunter partners Rally and Minnie-May, the Gunsmith Cats!
Fans will love this crime manga classic from the ‘90s from the character designer of Bubblegum Crisis, printed in an over-sized format and high-quality paper.
Rally Vincent runs Gunsmith Cats—a gun shop in Illinois with her partner, demolitions expert and former call girl Minnie-May Hopkins. But Rally’s “real” job doesn’t pay the bills, her hobby does. And her hobby is bounty hunting, bringing the most wanted men and women in the Chicago area to justice—dressed in her sharp suit and tie, and driving her Shelby Cobra GT 500!
In Gunsmith Cats Omnibus Volume 2, Rally goes downtown to pick up master thief Misty Brown, who’s just gotten out of the slammer. But Misty’s no safer on the streets…not when it seems she stole some tape recordings that could incriminate a Mafia boss. And especially not when Rally stands in the way of the person trying to get the tapes back—the perverted, ruthless Goldie Musso.
Misty may be the princess of cat burglars, but Goldie is the queen of the Mafia, and those she can’t beat down, she can shoot up—with kerasine, a synthetic street drug that in Goldie’s syringe-toting hands becomes a mind control tool of exquisite finesse. Her newest subject is Rally Vincent, whom she intends to not only get revenge upon, but recruit into serving her own organization. Goldie can do both if she ends Rally’s old life—by brainwashing her into murdering detective Roy Coleman!
For mature audiences.
“…[Sonoda’s] work on series such as Bubblegum Crisis and Gall Force helped define the look of 1980s anime. His first major manga, Gunsmith Cats, proved that Sonoda is a talented writer as well. (3 ½ stars out of 4)”—Jason Thompson, Manga: The Complete Guide
“Muscled thugs stalking mean streets, fast cars, pretty girls, and enough munitions to equip a personal army…Gunsmith Cats is a superb series worthy of just about anyone’s collection.” —A.V. Club

John Byrne has worked continuously in the comics industry as both writer and artist since 1975. After he initially collaborated with writer Chris Claremont on Iron Fist, Byrne and Claremont moved on to X-Men for a run still regarded as one of the title’s finest. Byrne contributed an equally famed stint on Fantastic Four, earning comparisons to the original Lee/Kirby issues for his imaginative plotlines and dynamic artwork. He also spun Alpha Flight into its own title. In 1986, he revamped DC’s flagship hero, Superman, reimagining the Man of Steel in a historic project heralded by a Time magazine cover. His remarkable contribution to the Marvel Universe extends to memorable associations with virtually every major hero, including celebrated runs on Captain America, Iron Man, Sensational She-Hulk, Namor the Sub-Mariner and Thing. The Phantom returns with a deluxe edition of the first volume of the strip, long out of print. The all new volume contains new documentary material, essays by noted comics historian Ron Goulart and Phantom expert Ed Rhoades, and a checklist of all the dailies from 1936-1994 (the end of the Sy Barry years). The volume includes three ground-breaking, adventure filled stories which define the series and the characters: "The Singh Brotherhood," February 17 - November 7, 1936; "The Sky Band," November 9, 1936 - April 10, 1937; and "The Diamond Hunters." April 12 - September 18, 1937. Limited to only 1000 copies. The first, original, and best masked hero to ever grace the pages of comic strips and comic books returns with Hermes Press' complete reprint of The Phantom. Frequently referred to as the "granddaddy of all costumed superheroes," The Phantom was created in 1936 by Lee Falk with artwork by Ray Moore. The strip hit the funny pages of newspapers well before the Dark Knight or Superman made their first appearances and has been acknowledged as an influence on every "masked man of mystery" since. The Phantom set the standard for action, adventure, intrigue, and romance in adventure comic strips and comic books - it has frequently been copied but never equaled. See it all from the beginning in Hermes Press' deluxe edition of Volume One. (immagine)

Is his greatest asset neither his dreams nor his determination, but his entrancing self…and should he start selling it to the public for whatever they think it’s worth?Meanwhile, a celebrity’s already on campus—Sora, the popular young Insta influencer, who stung Umiko at the arts festival by suggesting she’s just a well-off granny who’s looking for a pastime past her prime. Worse, he’s convinced that he’s destined for a brilliant directorial career himself…and he’s just enrolled in the same film school! But Umiko’s wondering if Sora only said aloud what many of the other students are already thinking about her. And despite his bad manners, perhaps Sora’s own sea isn’t as shallow as it first appears…

John Tarachine (a pen name) was born in 1989 in Hyogo prefecture in the Kansai region of Japan. While at art school, she tried her hand at filmmaking, but realized she was better suited to working alone and decided to pursue manga as a career. After graduating, she set out on a trip around the world, promising herself that she would get a real job if she didn’t make it as a manga artist by the time she was twenty-five. She narrowly met that personal deadline when she made her debut in 2015 with Good Night, I Love You, a tale of a man who travels to London to fulfill his mother’s dying wish. She followed this up with a manga adaptation of the Netflix series Sex Education before tackling fantasy in Witch of Thistle Castle. She came to feel that she was more interested in drawing shojo manga, however, and when an editor at the shojo magazine Mystery Bonita reached out to her about working together, the result was the critically acclaimed The Credits Roll into the Sea. She also draws BL manga under the name John Taratsumi. Jocelyne Allen is a Japanese translator and interpreter who splits her time between Toronto and Tokyo. She has translated hundreds of short stories, novels, and manga, including the Eisner Award-winning titles Lovesickness by Junji Ito and Onward Toward Our Noble Deaths by Shigeru Mizuki, and the Harvey Award-winning My Lesbian Experience With Loneliness by Nagata Kabi, as well as the critically acclaimed Our Dreams at Dusk by Yuhki Kamatani, and the classic shojo manga The Rose of Versailles by Riyoko Ikeda. As an interpreter, she has worked with Japan’s most celebrated authors and artists, including Sayaka Murata, Inio Asano, Mieko Kawakami, and Natsume Ono. She can be found online at kaikatsu.ca, blogging about books at brainvsbook.com, or noodling about translation and manga on Blue Sky (@brainvsbook). The thrilling conclusion! As the authorities converge on the scene of the takeover, Morgan Powers is their man on the inside—and possibly the only one who can stop The Sons Of Liberty. But the odds aren’t good for Morgan, since he’s only one man with a makeshift weapon against an entire militia of heavily armed white supremacists. In order to save the day, Morgan will have to find a way to save himself. There's a good chance he’s about to get fired, though.
