esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

A colossal axe strike brings judgment upon a world without justice. The enraged Dark Knight is given form in 1/4 scale. A new hero emerges within the DC Omniverse-Batman: The Berserker Rage Mode joins the Ultimate Premium Masterline lineup. Venturing alone through a world crawling with demons, Batman wields the power of darkness to strike down darkness itself. This statue gives form, at 1/4 scale, to the dark hero envisioned by Prime 1 Studio. Standing with the massive axe "Judgment of Faith"-a fusion of four weapons-in hand, the piece pursues a powerful silhouette and densely layered detail. The full-face head represents the Final Form of a helmet that transforms in response to surging emotion. Red LED illumination in the eyes expresses a rage on the verge of consuming reason itself. The armor, which binds the body like restraints, was crafted under the theme of dark protection, emphasizing a sinister presence. From the widely spreading cape, bats take flight, heightening the drama of the moment. At his feet lies Bane, transformed into a demonic creature and impaled by a sword. His unfocused eyes, rigid fingers, and the heavy presence of helmet and chains are rendered with meticulous attention to texture and color, capturing the realism of a final, dying scream. Presented by Prime 1 Studio, the enraged Dark Knight. Within your collection room, the curtain rises on a story arc that no one has yet witnessed. Few writers/editors influenced Marvel more than Mark Gruenwald (1953-1996). Famed for pioneering work on the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and his magnum opus Squadron Supreme, he also wrote a hundred-plus-issue run of Captain America; multiple Marvel Two-in-One sagas; and several miniseries, including Contest of Champions, the first of Marvel’s multi-hero sagas. He explored the Marvel Universe’s ancient history in a series of What If? backup stories he also penciled.Ralph Macchio began as an assistant editor on Marvel’s black-and-white magazines. His career grew more colorful with writing stints on Avengers, Thor and others. As editor, he oversaw Master of Kung Fu, Moon Knight, Daredevil and more. After editing multiple Spider-Man titles, he moved to the Ultimate line, which he guided through world-shaking changes. An award-winning writer since 1973, Marv Wolfman succeeded mentor Roy Thomas as Marvel’s editor in chief. Well-remembered for his Tomb of Dracula scripts, he also enjoyed runs on Dr. Strange, Fantastic Four and Nova, among other titles. New Teen Titans, his 1980s collaboration with George Pérez, became DC Comics’ biggest hit in years. Wolfman and Pérez literally rewrote DC history with Crisis on Infinite Earths. He subsequently penned episodes for such animated TV series as G.I. Joe, Transformers and others.Artist George Pérez made team titles his specialty with runs on Marvel’s Avengers and Fantastic Four, along with DC’s Justice League of America and New Teen Titans, the latter co-created with Marv Wolfman. The pair redefined the DC Universe in Crisis on Infinite Earths. In collaboration with writer Kurt Busiek, he returned to Avengers following the “Heroes Reborn” event. The pair surpassed expectations with JLA/Avengers, a 2003 crossover that featured nearly every member of both long-running teams.Ron Wilson began penciling the Thing’s Two-in-One adventures in 1975 and remained for most of the title’s run. He subsequently illustrated follow-up series Thing until its end in 1986. Wilson also contributed art for Avengers, Captain Britain, Power Man and other titles, including the entire run of Marvel’s licensed Masters of the Universe series. At DC, he provided character designs for the Milestone imprint.John Byrne has worked continuously in the comics industry as both writer and artist since 1975. After he initially collaborated with writer Chris Claremont on Iron Fist, Byrne and Claremont moved on to X-Men for a run still regarded as one of the title’s finest. Byrne contributed an equally famed stint on Fantastic Four, earning comparisons to the original Lee/Kirby issues for his imaginative plotlines and dynamic artwork. He also spun Alpha Flight into its own title. In 1986, he revamped DC’s flagship hero, Superman, reimagining the Man of Steel in a historic project heralded by a Time magazine cover. His remarkable contribution to the Marvel Universe extends to memorable associations with virtually every major hero, including celebrated runs on Captain America, Iron Man, Sensational She-Hulk, Namor the Sub-Mariner and Thing. In the 21st century, Byrne’s considerable body of work includes IDW’s Star Trek and Angel.

Based in Brooklyn, New York, Charles Soule has written novels, comics, screenplays and stories of all types. Also a musician and an attorney, Soule somehow finds time to be one of the busiest writers in comics. Among his Marvel credits are Thunderbolts, She-Hulk and the landmark Death of Wolverine, as well as its immediate follow-up (Wolverines) and its eventual sequel (Return of Wolverine). Soule brought his legal expertise to the pages of Daredevil and assembled a blockbuster squad in Astonishing X-Men. Following solo series starring Darth Vader, Lando Calrissian and Poe Dameron, Soule turned his attention to the iconic rebel crew in a new volume of the flagship Star Wars title, and he was one of the select group of authors chosen to chart the unseen era of the High Republic.Chuck Wendig is a novelist, online journalist, blogger, screenwriter, and game designer. He is noted for a series of writing advice books, the Heartland series, Miriam Black, Tomes of the Dead, and the Dinopocalypse trilogy. He has contributed over two million words to role playing games, including the popular Hunter: The Vigil game line. He was a frequent contributor to The Escapist, writing about games and pop culture. Wendig made his first venture into comics with the 2015 release of Dark Circle Comics' THE SHIELD. His most celebrated work is his novel Star Wars: Aftermath, the first part of a trilogy that spans the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.Artist Giuseppe Camuncoli made his Marvel Comics debut in 2002 on Spider-Man’s Tangled Web. His subsequent Marvel credits include the limited series X-Infernus, which re-established Illyana Rasputin as a central character in the X-Universe. He later helped launch Wolverine’s son into his own title with Daken: Dark Wolverine, and teamed with writer Dan Slott on Amazing Spider-Man and Superior Spider-Man. Camuncoli illustrated the entire 25-issue run of writer Charles Soule’s Star Wars: Darth Vader. The cult hit Agents of Atlas helped artist Leonard Kirk cultivate a rabid fan base, but he was guaranteed pop-culture immortality following years of work on multiple Star Trek tie-ins. His collaboration with industry legend Peter David in a years-long stint on Supergirl and his role as penciler on Detective Comics during DC’s One Year Later initiative further cemented his reputation in the industry, leading to a critically acclaimed run on Captain Britain and MI13. His other Marvel credits include another collaboration with David on X-Factor, as well as runs on Fantastic Four, Squadron Supreme and All-New Wolverine.

Joe Kelly broke into Marvel in 1997, adding his own style of irreverence to Deadpool and turning the title into a cult sensation. After runs on Daredevil and X-Men, Kelly departed for DC Comics, where he delivered award-winning work on Action Comics and Superboy. He subsequently returned to Marvel, collaborating with the “Spider-Man Brain Trust†and penning several memorable arcs on Amazing Spider-Man. Kelly combined the two Marvel characters with which he is most closely associated in the riotous team-up series Spider-Man/Deadpool. Along with several fellow comic creators, Kelly established Man of Action, the studio that has produced the Ben 10 animated series.Best known as an editor, James Felder wrote stories for several Marvel anthology titles, including Marvel: Shadows and Light, Marvel Comics Presents and What If? After co-plotting issues of Deadpool with Joe Kelly, he wrote the Deadpool Team-Up one-shot, in which the Merc with a Mouth encountered the infamous Beyonder.Writer/editor Stan Lee (1922-2018) made comic-book history together with Jack Kirby in 1961 with Fantastic Four #1. The monumental popularity of its new style inspired Lee to develop similarly themed characters — including the Hulk and X-Men with Kirby, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange with Steve Ditko, and Daredevil with Bill Everett. After shepherding his creations through dozens of issues — in some cases a hundred or more — Lee allowed other writers to take over, but he maintained steady editorial control. Eventually, he helped expand Marvel into a multimedia empire. In recent years, his frequent cameo appearances in Marvel’s films established Lee as one of the world’s most famous faces.Artist Ed McGuinness came to prominence with his work on Harris Comics’ Vampirella and Marvel’s Deadpool. At Awesome Entertainment, McGuinness participated in a Fighting American revamp with writer Jeph Loeb, who would become a longtime collaborator. A short run on WildStorm’s Mr. Majestic led to a longer one on DC Comics’ Superman and the launch of Superman/Batman with Loeb. Back at Marvel, McGuinness reunited with Loeb for Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America, Hulk and Avengers: X-Sanction before launching Amazing X-Men with Jason Aaron. McGuinness has reteamed with his Deadpool scribe Joe Kelly for Spider-Man/Deadpool and with Aaron on a blockbuster relaunch of Avengers.Born in Portland, Oregon, Aaron Lopresti studied business and briefly worked in the film industry before starting a career as a commercial artist at Art Farm Studios. He broke into comics in 1993 as the artist of Malibu’s Sludge series for the Ultraverse line, later acquired by Marvel. Lopresti has since drawn projects featuring Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Mister Terrific, Plastic Man, Superboy, Gen¹³, Mystic, Xena and Star Trek for various publishers, as well as the self-published Atomic Toybox and CHIX. His many Marvel/Malibu credits include Amazing Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Elven, Generation X, New X-Men, Rogue, Sentinel Squad O*N*E, Uncanny X-Men, What The--?! and What If?, plus longer runs on Excalibur, Incredible Hulk and Ms. Marvel.Bernard Chang broke into comics at Valiant, earning acclaim for his art on The Second Life of Dr. Mirage and The Visitor. Chang subsequently drew the New Mutants: Truth or Death miniseries for Marvel; at DC, he has contributed to Supergirl, Superman and Wonder Woman, as well as the New 52 titles DC Universe Presents and Demon Knights. Outside comics, Chang has designed several award-winning Disney attractions and provided illustrations for a number of books, including Jenna Jameson’s autobiography.Shannon Denton began his comics career contributing art to various Image titles. After a short stint illustrating Deadpool, Denton wrote and drew the Antarctic Press one-shots Big Game and Actionopolis, and cowrote several titles with Keith Giffen, including Common Foe, Grunts and Gutwrencher. In 2000, Denton founded independent publisher Komikwerks. Denton also works in the animation field and has contributed to several Fox Kids shows — including the X-Men, Spider-Man and Silver Surfer — as well as the film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. After getting his start as an intern at WildStorm Productions, artist Pete Woods went on to illustrate such WildStorm titles as StormWatch, Wetworks and Backlash. Moving to Marvel, he drew issues of Excalibur before joining writer Joe Kelly on Deadpool. At DC, he penciled a four-year run on Robin, later working on Action Comics with writers Geoff Johns and Paul Cornell, and the miniseries Superman: Last Stand of New Krypton with cowriters James Robinson and Sterling Gates.Walter McDaniel’s Marvel output includes annuals for Gambit, Ka-Zar and Wolverine, along with stints on Deadpool and Deathlok. Elsewhere, he has drawn Earth 4 for Continuity Comics, as well as Crush and Pact for Image. Steve Harris has penciled Deadpool/Death 1998 Annual and issues of Generation X. He has also worked for Warren Publishing and Willyprods. After his start on Action Force and Transformers for Marvel UK, Anthony Williams penciled Marvel’s Squadron Supreme: New World Order one-shot, Hokum and Hex (a Clive Barker creation), and DC’s Fate. In the pages of 2000 AD, he collaborated with Dan Abnett, Garth Ennis, Mark Millar and Grant Morrison, among other noted British writers.Artist David Brewer began his career at Marvel, contributing fill-in art on various titles and drawing several issues of 2099: World of Tomorrow and Incredible Hulk. For DC, Brewer illustrated several annuals before moving to Chaos! Comics, where he drew the Dead King and Lady Demon miniseries, as well as several Evil Ernie comics, including the Depraved and War of the Dead spinoffs.John Romita was born in 1930 and drew for Atlas Era Marvel Comics across many genres. By the time Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko were defining the look and feel of the Marvel Age of Comics during the 1960s, Romita had made the move to DC Comics, where he was working exclusively behind the boards of the company’s many romance comics. It wasn’t until 1966 that he returned to Marvel Comics and the super-hero genre, drawing Daredevil before taking over from Ditko on what was fast becoming Marvel’s most important book, Amazing Spider-Man. Romita’s slick, clean craftsmanship would be a hallmark of his tenure, and his years of drawing beautiful women in DC’s romance books paid off with iconic renderings of Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson and the other women in Peter Parker’s life.Reimagining New Mutants into X-Force was only the start for Rob Liefeld, one of the leaders of the 1990s comics revolution. After introducing both Cable and Deadpool, he launched an even bigger collaboration as one of the founders of Image Comics with his original property Youngblood. In 1996, he participated in Marvel’s multi-title Heroes Reborn event. Liefeld returned to Marvel fo an X-Force limited series and then revisited Heroes Reborn in Onslaught Reborn. Liefeld returned to his most famous co-creation with the graphic novel Deadpool: Bad Blood, its limited series sequel Deadpool: Badder Blood and the blockbuster Deadpool Team-Up, and introduced a new sensation in Major X.

Discover the award-winning #1 New York Times bestseller that brings the Civil Rights Movement to life — the stunning graphic memoir of the man called “the conscience of America.”Congressman John Lewis (GA-5) was an American icon who repeatedly made history as one of the key figures of the Civil Rights Movement. His commitment to justice and nonviolence brought him from an Alabama sharecropper’s farm to the halls of Congress, from a segregated schoolroom to the 1963 March on Washington, and from receiving beatings from state troopers to receiving the Medal of Freedom from the first African-American president. To share his remarkable story with new generations, Lewis turned to the graphic novel format, in collaboration with co-writer Andrew Aydin and artist Nate Powell, and inspired by a 1950s comic book that helped prepare his own generation to join the struggle. The resulting trilogy, March, became a groundbreaking and definitive work of graphic memoir — a perennial bestseller, a vital resource in classrooms across America, the recipient of countless honors, and the first comic to win the National Book Award. Today, March continues to animate the lessons of history with vivid life for new generations, powerfully and urgently relevant for our world. It is a vivid first-hand account of John Lewis’ lifelong struggle for civil and human rights, meditating in the modern age on the distance traveled since the days of Jim Crow and segregation. Rooted in Lewis’ personal story, it also reflects on the highs and lows of the broader Civil Rights Movement, with a particular focus on young adults. Through an unforgettable literary and artistic narrative, March portrays the surpassing courage, sacrifice, and revolutionary nonviolence that transformed American society in the 1960s, guided by principles and tactics that remain vitally relevant in the present day. This new single-volume edition features a detailed index.

The classic Gundam series now in a premium Deluxe Edition hardcover!PRAISE FOR THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING SERIES“It’s a good book. Very good, actually. Very good war comics, requiring no prior experience with anime or mecha or Gundam—just a well-made, old-fashioned war comic, full of thrills and spills and lucky breaks and narrow escapes and preening villains you’ll love to hate and pigheaded heroes you may hate to love, and expert drawings by a master craftsman, and hard, sturdy violence.” —Joe McCulloch, The Comics Journal “One of the best drawn and told manga works of recent memory… If you want to understand the fuss around the original Gundam, or even read one of the better manga works out there, then Gundam: The Origin is definitely worth checking out.” —Ollie Barder, Forbes “WINNER: BEST MANGA [2013] This manga was penned by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko—and who better to handle the transformation of the show from screen to page than the man who had key roles in the original series, from character design, to illustration, to layout?” —NEO Magazine (U.K.)“Yasuhiko’s work is just really strong throughout. Fights between mobile suits are exciting, and manage to stay clear despite an impressive amount of detail… These releases deserve as much love as was put into them.”—Joseph Luster, Otaku USA “While it goes without saying that Gundam fans should enjoy these books, they are also a good read for those who simply like a science fiction or a war story that is well-written, nicely illustrated, and full of interesting characters… [S]eriously good literary entertainment.” —Anime News Network “No real knowledge or understanding of the original MSG is needed… What follows are hundreds of pages of suspenseful war drama and sci-fi explosiveness, all of which is well and good (seriously good, actually; this is an intensely fun sci-fi epic), but it’s the visuals that you are truly getting this book for.” —Graphic Novel Reporter “A compelling coming-of-age story. It spins personal and political drama together in a way that is both engaging and satisfying… This is a series you will want to put into a teen’s hands, even if they don’t know it yet. Once they start reading, they won’t want to put it down.” —School Library Journal Blog Network The storied Gundam franchise’s “First Season” that set new standards of verisimilitude for televised sci-fi animation returns in comics form at the hand of one of the initial creators! The definitive account expands on the classic narrative with the same sense of purpose that lit up the screen more than four decades ago. This new edition collects the original bestselling twelve-installment English release into six oversized volumes. All of the many color pages—unusually numerous for Japanese comics—have been retained…only at a larger size. The master’s artwork has never looked so grand! (Does not include essays and illustrations from the original release that are not the author’s own)
