Limited Edition Hardcover Book Sets from our remaining inventory. Featuring the writing and art of Howard Chaykin, each set contains the following three books: American Flagg!: Hard Times, Southern Comfort and State of the Union. Combined, they collect issues #1-9 of the first Flagg! series originally published by First Comics. Originally produced as a limited-edition of 1800 each, each hardcover book is sequentially numbered and signed by Chaykin. These books have remained in excellent condition. The only exception being the dustjacket for Hard Times. From being packaged together for years, some areas of the clear coating on the covers, have stuck to each other. When separated, damage to some of the jackets has occurred. This is realitively minor, and ain't bad considering their age (these books were released by us between 1987-1989) and the special price!! PLEASE NOTE: that though the three books are all individually numbered, the chances of of you receiving a set where all three books have the same number are highly unlikely.
