From the extremely popular 80's series Voltron: Defender of the Universe, ROBO-DOU Voltron has taken the world by storm, and the remarkable ROBO-DOU Voltron (Retro Toy Edition) is now available, paying homage to the first released Voltron collectible in 1981! Accurately following the path of its predecessor, ROBO-DOU Voltron (Retro Toy Edition) is a non-scale, fully-articulated figure standing approximately 27cm (~10.6") tall in Voltron mode with a remarkable die-cast main frame. This collectible variant maintains the robot's iconic retro aesthetic with an impressive electroplating silver finish to emphasize on the nostalgia of the classic mecha look. This Retro Toy Edition includes two exclusive sets of metallic decal sticker sheets, recalling the enjoyable experience in hand-detailing collectibles of the past; while the remaining set of stickers can be used on the previously released ROBO-DOU Voltron series items. The classic Voltron is recreated utilizing ROBO-DOU engineering to achieve a wider range of articulation and better combining functions than its contemporaries. ROBO-DOU Voltron (Retro Toy Edition) is composed of five Lion mecha, and is able to split into Lion mode, or combine to form Voltron. All five Lion mecha are fully-articulated figures partly adopting zinc alloy and metal parts for the movable joints. With Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven Seagle, Casey formed the development/production company Man of Action, responsible for animated series including Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 and Disney/XD’s Ultimate Spider-Man.Having studied at New York’s School of Visual Arts, ChrisCross made his breakthrough in the comics industry working for DC Comics’ Milestone imprint on Blood Syndicate and The World Needs Heroes, before going on to illustrate titles including Firestorm and Outsiders. For Marvel, he illustrated the Slingers series spinning out of the world of Spider-Man, and then united with Peter David for a lengthy run on Captain Marvel.
