Reading Dracula at age twelve introduced MIKE MIGNOLA to folklore and Victorian supernatural literature, from which he has never recovered. He began working as a comic book artist in 1982, working for both Marvel and DC Comics before creating Hellboy, published by Dark Horse Comics in1994. What began as a single comic book series would eventually expand to a “Hellboy Universe” of related graphic novels, prose novels, short story anthologies, and both animated and live action films. He also wrote and drew The Amazing Screw-On Head and Other Curious Objects. He has cowritten novels with Christopher Golden (Baltimore, or, The Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire) and Thomas Sniegoski (Grim Death and Bill the Electrocuted Criminal), worked with Francis Ford Coppola on Bram Stoker’s Dracula, was a production designer on Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and acted as visual consultant to Guillermo del Toro on Blade II, Hellboy, and Hellboy II: The Golden Army. A new Hellboy film directed by Neil Marshall was released in 2019. Mike’s comics and graphic novelshave earned numerous awards and are published in a great many countries. He lives in Southern California with his wife and a very demanding cat.JOHN ARCUDI has been telling lies since he was a boy. Joe Henderson was the co-showrunner of the Netflix hit series Lucifer, and is an Eisner-nominated writer, co-creating the books Skyward and Shadecraft with artist Lee Garbett. He was Consulting Producer on the Stephen King limited series 11.22.63 for Hulu, as well as Co-EP on Almost Human, White Collar, and Graceland. Joe is the Co-CEO of Magic Quill Productions, a showrunner-led production company. Lee Garbett is an Eisner-nominated artist and co-creator of Skyward and Shadecraft (Image Comics). As well as creator-owned projects, Lee is currently working on Marvel’s Uncanny Spider-Man. Joe Kelly broke into Marvel in 1997, adding his own style of irreverence to Deadpool and turning the title into a cult sensation. After runs on Daredevil and X-Men, Kelly departed for DC Comics, where he delivered award-winning work on Action Comics and Superboy. He subsequently returned to Marvel, collaborating with the “Spider-Man Brain Trust” and penning several memorable arcs on Amazing Spider-Man. Kelly combined the two Marvel characters with which he is most closely associated in the riotous team-up series Spider-Man/Deadpool.
