esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Bill Mantlo began his Marvel career on Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, in which he introduced White Tiger, one of the industry’s earliest Hispanic super heroes. Eventually writing stories for almost every Marvel title, he did some of his most fondly remembered work on Incredible Hulk and Spectacular Spider-Man. He also launched Cloak and Dagger in a pair of miniseries and guided Alpha Flight through some of its most harrowing ordeals. Mantlo excelled at integrating licensed properties into the Marvel Universe, as demonstrated by Micronauts and Rom: Spaceknight, both of which he wrote from start to finish. At DC, he wrote the Invasion miniseries for one of the company’s biggest crossover events. The career of the late Gil Kane began in comicdom's Golden Age. Following his role in ushering in the Silver Age of Comics via the re-creations of Green Lantern, the Atom and others, he became Marvel's star cover artist and the regular penciler on Amazing Spider-Man. Kane also helped develop Iron Fist, Morbius the Living Vampire and other Marvel mainstays. In 1971, he published the sword-and-sorcery/science-fiction hybrid Blackmark, often called the first American graphic novel. He was a multiple winner of the National Cartoonist Society Award; in 1997, he was inducted into both the Eisner Award Hall of Fame and the Harvey Award Jack Kirby Hall of Fame.Jackson “Butch” Guice began his Marvel career during the 1980s penciling Micronauts, New Mutants and X-Factor. He moved to DC for a fan-favorite run on Flash, subsequently illustrating nearly three years’ worth of Action Comics and participating in the “Death of Superman” event. He also co-created Resurrection Man and provided artwork for Birds of Prey. Back at Marvel, he penciled Captain America, Iron Man, Ultimate Origins and more. He has also worked on CrossGen’s Ruse, Dark Horse’s film tie-ins Terminator: Endgame and Aliens/Predator, First’s Badger and Nexus, and Valiant’s Eternal Warrior. The Marvel Preview series “The Sword and The Star” was not only Rocket Raccoon’s first appearance, but Keith Giffen’s first published work. He moved into more mainstream titles with Defenders, penciling the adventures of the infamous non-team during some of its most nontraditional storylines. It was at DC, however, that he achieved his greatest recognition with creations Ambush Bug, an irreverent wannabe hero who tackled the comics industry itself, and alien mercenary Lobo, who was meant as an indictment of the violent vigilante genre, but became its most extreme success story. In addition to famed stints on Legion of Super-Heroes and Justice League, he also wrote X-O Manowar and Magnus, Robot Fighter for Valiant Comics, and adapted mangas Battle Royale and Ikki Tousen into English. He has played a vital role in cosmic crossovers at both Marvel and DC, writing Annihilation tie-ins for the former, and penciling 52 and Countdown to Final Crisis for the latter.

A woman must confront the evil that has been terrorizing her street since she was a child in this gripping haunted house novel from the national bestselling author of The House That Horror Built and Good Girls Don’t Die.On an otherwise ordinary street in Chicago, there is a house. An abandoned house where, once upon a time, terrible things happened. The children who live on this block are told by their parents to stay away from that house. But of course, children don’t listen. Children think it’s fun to be scared, to dare each other to go inside.Jessie Campanelli did what many older sisters do and dared her little brother Paul. But unlike all the other kids who went inside that abandoned house, Paul didn’t return. His two friends, Jake and Richie, said that the house ate Paul. Of course adults didn’t believe that. Adults never believe what kids say. They thought someone kidnapped Paul, or otherwise hurt him. They thought Paul had disappeared in a way that was ordinary, explainable. The disappearance of her little brother broke Jessie’s family apart in ways that would never be repaired. Jessie grew up, had a child of her own, kept living on the same street where the house that ate her brother sat, crouched and waiting. And darkness seemed to spread out from that house, a darkness that was alive—alive and hungry.

For fans of Disney princesses and Sailor Moon–style girl power, Cursed Princess Club is a lighthearted story of a young royal named Gwendolyn who finds her place in a world obsessed with princes, beauty, and happily-ever-afters.Simply because you’re cursed doesn’t mean you’re not special. Gwendolyn, the youngest of the king’s three daughters, is living proof that princesses don’t always have it all. She isn’t like a typical fairy-tale princess, or other princesses in the Pastel Kingdom. In spite of her big heart and love of baking, Gwendolyn isn’t particularly attractive. Unlike her sisters who have woodland creatures do their hair and makeup, or have flowers blossom wherever they sleep, Gwendolyn is a bit . . . different. When her father proposes marriage for her and her sisters to make an alliance with the Plaid Kingdom, it breaks Gwendolyn’s heart to hear that Prince Frederick thinks she’s “really ugly.” Overwhelmed and ashamed, she runs away into the forest and encounters the twisted world of the Cursed Princess Club, where her life will never be the same. In this fifth book in the series, Gwendolyn continues to blend her Cursed PrIncess Clubworld with her real world–and finally hosts her dinner party. All she has to do is manage seating arrangements, organize the catering, lead good conversations . . . and convince her family that her guests from the Cursed Princess Club are completely normal, not-cursed princesses. If that’s not enough to juggle, the entire Plaid Kingdom royal family is joining too. The event does give Gwen the opportunity to spend more time with Frederick, who she continues to grow closer with despite still struggling with her self-esteem and shattered reflections. Meanwhile, the Cursed Princess Club members are on a mission–besides supporting Gwen, they plan to scour the Pastel Palace for hidden secrets about Gwen’s mysterious mother. This volume collects episodes 94 to 110 of the hit WEBTOON series with over 285 million views. “The overarching theme of challenging stereotypes and finding beauty within resonates with a universal audience.” –CBR

He is best known for lengthy runs on Ghost Rider and Deadpool, and took a turn at Marvel’s most deadly father-son team in Wolverine: Origins and Dark Wolverine (co-written with Marjorie Liu). Way has also helped shed light on some of the Marvel Universe’s darker corners, bringing back Starr the Slayer, introducing the world to Hit-Monkey, showcasing the assassin Bullseye’s “Greatest Hits,” declaring open season on Sabretooth and exploring the world of Supreme Power’s ruthless vigilante Nighthawk in various limited series, as well as adding Deadpool to the roster of his reinvention of the Thunderbolts. The late artist Steve Dillon had his first paying work at age 16 for the UK-based Hulk Weekly magazine. Like many of his British contemporaries, Dillon honed his skills on the legendary 2000AD. In 1993, Dillon joined writer Garth Ennis on DC/Vertigo’s Hellblazer. Their work earned overwhelming praise from the title’s devoted fan base and led to a second collaboration on Preacher, which earned an “A” grade from Entertainment Weekly and was later turned into a TV series on AMC. After Preacher’s 66-issue run, Dillon again teamed with Ennis on a revival of Marvel’s classic antihero, Punisher. Dillon later illustrated Daniel Way’s Wolverine: Origins, Ennis’ Punisher: War Zone, Mark Millar’s Ultimate Avengers and Jason Aaron’s PunisherMAX. Dillon again drew Frank Castle for Marvel NOW! in the relaunched Thunderbolts and later in All-New, All-Different Marvel’s The Punisher.
