esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
In the 1950s and 1960s SF comic strips were hugely popular in British weekly comics. The most popular being Dan Dare in the Eagle, Captain Condor in The Lion and Jet-Ace Logan in The Comet. Jet-Ace Logan first appeared in The Comet #426 (September 1956) with art by Geoff Campion who drew the first 3 stories. John Gillatt took over the art from issue 474 and continued honing his brilliant pen and ink artwork until the last issue of Comet in October 1959 by which time his artwork had become some of the finest and exciting comic strip art in British comics. This limited edition, with over 360 pages of exciting SF artwork, is a must for all comic strip and SF art fans. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

We open this latest issue with Glenn Fabry who was one of the seminal artists from 2000AD in the UK, and then became one of favorite cover illustrators for the Vertigo line of comics in the USA. Then we remember Glen Orbik who brought back all the thrills and chills from the crime pulp covers of the 1940s into the new millennium. We take a look back at Howard Chandler Christy, creator of the Christy Girl, and then at some German children's books about children behaving badly and how they inspired some popular comic strips and animated cartoons. (W) W.E. Johns (A) Ron Embleton & Mike Western Deluxe Collectors’ Limited Edition of 400 copies. The long-awaited reprints of the complete Biggles adventures by Ron Embleton and Mike Western from the pages of TV Express Weekly. James Bigglesworth, that most iconic of aviation adventurers, was created by W.E. Johns for the first issue of Popular Flying magazine, published in April 1932, and popular he certainly was… and still is! In April 1960, Granada began showing its now barely remembered Biggles TV programme, which meant that the character could now, legitimately, appear in TV Express Weekly, which he did some five months later. Here we present all the stories from TV Express Weekly and an additional 8-page story drawn by Embleton from the 1962 TV Express Annual. Chocks away! (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

Working in a style dear to him and heavy with uncompromising improvisation, this sketchbook weaves between casual and intense graphic styles and was drawn by Moebius between 1997 and 2009. The protagonist of this pseudo-historical story, Major Grubert, evolves both philosophically and humouristically in a context echoing the brilliant 'Inside Moebius' series. Taking another journey through the fabulous web like world of the Airtight Garage, several guest appearances are slipped between the pages of this book, including the likes of Lorenzo Mattotti, François Avril, André Juillard, William Vance, Sylvio Cadelo, as well as Isabelle Giraud and their children, Raphaël and Nausicaä.
