esempio: @author Stan Lee
@artist artista: cerca solo articoli di questo artista. Per
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@publisher editore: cerca solo articoli di questo editore.
Per esempio: @publisher Marvel
Nota:1 potete anche usare le varianti in italiani: @autore,
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
La ricerca tenterà di individuare termini somiglianti oppure
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
È possibile effettuare la ricerca anche inserendo direttamente il
codice a barre.

After early assignments on Kickers Inc. and Cloak and Dagger, Terry Kavanagh wrote Web of Spider-Man for years — spinning a hero he introduced in those pages, Nightwatch, into his own title. In addition to runs on Marc Spector: Moon Knight, X-Man and various mutant titles, he wrote Avengers, Iron Man and several tie-in one-shots during the controversial “Crossing” storyline. His miniseries work includes Before the Fantastic Four: The Storms, Fury/Agent 13, Black Cat and Rise of Apocalypse. He teamed Marvel heroes with UItraverse heroes in Exiles vs. X-Men and Ultraforce/Avengers Prelude. In addition to runs on Fantastic Four and Thor, original Moon Knight scribe Doug Moench specialized in writing features outside the Marvel mainstream — including Adventure into Fear’s Morbius, Frankenstein, Inhumans, Ka-Zar: Lord of the Hidden Jungle, Master of Kung Fu, Werewolf by Night and Astonishing Tales’ Deathlok. Proving his eclectic abilities, he also wrote the full run of Godzilla, most of Shogun Warriors and stories for virtually every Marvel black-and-white magazine of the 1970s. He expanded on his Star-Lord and Weirdworld sagas in multiple anthology titles. At DC, he wrote memorable runs on Batman, Detective Comics and Legends of the Dark Knight — along with numerous Batman one-shots, cross-company crossovers and Elseworlds sagas. He further contributed such short-lived but unique series as Electric Warrior, Lords of the Ultra-Realm, Slash Maraud, Wanderers and Xenobrood.Versatile artist James Fry proved himself equally at home illustrating the grim-and-gritty ’90s vigilantism of Moon Knight and Nomad as he was the cartoonish adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog — so it’s little wonder he was chosen to depict a character that combines the two extremes, in Marvel’s Slapstick limited series.Stephen Platt’s work bringing the Marc Spector: Moon Knight series to a close helped propel him to stardom in the artist-fueled comics boom of the 1990s. Platt rode the wave of success to Image Comics, illustrating Rob Liefeld’s Prophet series and his creator-owned series Soul Saga. He went on to become a sought-after concept artist, working on film projects including Blade: Trinity and Marvel Studios’ Iron Man.

In addition to writing half the Punisher’s longest-running series and four of the title’s Annuals, Mike Baron penned the Punisher: Origin of Microchip miniseries and three Punisher one-shots: Empty Quarter, G-Force and Intruder. Elsewhere in the Marvel Multiverse, he wrote Feud, Spyke and other Epic titles. Still well-remembered for co-creating Capital Comics’ Nexus and Badger during the 1980s, he has also written DC’s Batman, Deadman and Flash. He scribed multiple Star Wars tie-ins for Dark Horse, and teaches self-publishing at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. Not your traditional super-hero artist, Val Mayerik made his mark on other Marvel Comics titles starting with Chamber of Chills’ Brak the Barbarian in 1973. Quickly, Mayerik picked up assignments for Supernatural Thrillers, Creatures on the Loose and Conan before being given the Man-Thing feature in Adventure into Fear, where he designed Howard the Duck. Since his tenure at Marvel in the 1970s, Mayerik has produced artwork for other comic-book publishers and role-playing-game companies.Larry Stroman penciled X-Factor during the early ’90s before beginning work on his creator-owned title Tribe. His work on notable comics characters includes Uncanny X-Men, Black Panther and the Heroes Reborn version of Iron Man for Marvel; DC’s Darkstars; and Wildstorm’s WildC.A.T.s. Kurt Busiek is perhaps most famous for his Eisner Award-winning collaboration with Alex Ross on Marvels, a fully painted classic that still amazes a quarter of a century later. Busiek launched Thunderbolts in the wake of “Heroes Reborn,” later writing Avengers and Iron Man upon the heroes’ return to the Marvel Universe. He teamed his two signature supergroups in the Avengers vs. Thunderbolts miniseries and spanned the history of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Avengers Forever. He has revisited the Modern Era’s early years in such titles as Amazing Fantasy, Iron Man: The Iron Age, Thor: Godstorm and Untold Tales of Spider-Man. At DC, he has written multiple Justice League and Superman titles, and even pitted the Avengers against the JLA in a blockbuster crossover. Busiek launched his own super-hero multiverse with his Astro City series, which he’s been writing since 1995. Busiek has returned to the world of Marvels for various projects, including curating Marvels Snapshots and writing the series The Marvels.Since his start on the New Universe’s Psi-Force and backup stories in Classic X-Men, Fabian Nicieza has written most of Marvel’s major super-teams — including Alpha Flight, the Avengers, the New Warriors, the Thunderbolts and the X-Men. Together with artist Rob Liefeld, Nicieza transformed New Mutants into the blockbuster X-Force. The writer also tackled solo heroes ranging from Cable and Deadpool (later combined in Cable & Deadpool) to Gambit and Nomad. He edited Marvel’s Star imprint, contributed to multititle X-events like “X-Cutioner’s Song” and “Phalanx Covenant,” and wrote various “pre-modern” limited series such as Adventures of Captain America and Citizen V and the V-Battalion. Elsewhere, he has written both JLA and Justice League Adventures, The 99, Turok, X-Files, and others.Hired on the strength of his Official Marvel Tryout penciling submission, Mark Bagley rose to prominence as the artist of 1990s sleeper hit New Warriors. Following an acclaimed run on Amazing Spider-Man, he worked with writer Kurt Busiek on Thunderbolts. When Marvel launched its Ultimate line, Bagley and Brian Michael Bendis led the way with Ultimate Spider-Man, whose years of success made the pair the longest-running creative team in Marvel history. Bendis and Bagley have also collaborated on Avengers Assemble and the creator-owned Brilliant. His subsequent credits include Fantastic Four, Cataclysm: The Ultimates’ Last Stand, Hulk, All-New X-Men and Venom.Patrick “Patch” Zircher got his start illustrating RPG-based comics for Eclipse and 3D comics for Blackthorne during the late 1980s, and drew Now Comics’ Green Hornet. He has been an artist in demand ever since. His notable Marvel credits across the decades include New Warriors, Venom: Along Came a Spider, Star Trek: Early Voyages, Iron Man: The Iron Age, Thunderbolts, Cable & Deadpool, Iron Man, Hulk, Mystery Men and Savage Avengers.

Based in Brooklyn, New York, Charles Soule has written novels, comics, screenplays and stories of all types. Also a musician and an attorney, Soule somehow finds time to be one of the busiest writers in comics. Among his Marvel credits are Thunderbolts, She-Hulk and the landmark Death of Wolverine, as well as its immediate follow-up (Wolverines) and its eventual sequel (Return of Wolverine). Soule brought his legal expertise to the pages of Daredevil and assembled a blockbuster squad in Astonishing X-Men. Following solo series starring Darth Vader, Lando Calrissian and Poe Dameron, Soule turned his attention to the iconic rebel crew in a new volume of the flagship Star Wars title, and he was one of the select group of authors chosen to chart the unseen era of the High Republic.Chuck Wendig is a novelist, online journalist, blogger, screenwriter, and game designer. He is noted for a series of writing advice books, the Heartland series, Miriam Black, Tomes of the Dead, and the Dinopocalypse trilogy. He has contributed over two million words to role playing games, including the popular Hunter: The Vigil game line. He was a frequent contributor to The Escapist, writing about games and pop culture. Wendig made his first venture into comics with the 2015 release of Dark Circle Comics' THE SHIELD. His most celebrated work is his novel Star Wars: Aftermath, the first part of a trilogy that spans the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.Artist Giuseppe Camuncoli made his Marvel Comics debut in 2002 on Spider-Man’s Tangled Web. His subsequent Marvel credits include the limited series X-Infernus, which re-established Illyana Rasputin as a central character in the X-Universe. He later helped launch Wolverine’s son into his own title with Daken: Dark Wolverine, and teamed with writer Dan Slott on Amazing Spider-Man and Superior Spider-Man. Camuncoli illustrated the entire 25-issue run of writer Charles Soule’s Star Wars: Darth Vader. The cult hit Agents of Atlas helped artist Leonard Kirk cultivate a rabid fan base, but he was guaranteed pop-culture immortality following years of work on multiple Star Trek tie-ins. His collaboration with industry legend Peter David in a years-long stint on Supergirl and his role as penciler on Detective Comics during DC’s One Year Later initiative further cemented his reputation in the industry, leading to a critically acclaimed run on Captain Britain and MI13. Tom DeFalco’s earliest comic-book scripts were for Archie and DC; he soon moved to Marvel, where he wrote Avengers, Machine Man and other titles, also launching Dazzler, a hit series of the early ’80s. In addition to writing long and well-received runs on Amazing Spider-Man and Thor, DeFalco edited many titles, eventually becoming editor in chief. During the 1980s, he headed the creative team that provided fictional biographies for G.I. Joe members, originally included with Hasbro’s toys and later used as the basis for multiple storylines on the animated series. Perhaps his best-known work is multi-title character Spider-Girl, whom he introduced in 1998. DeFalco has authored multiple books, including Ultimate Guides for Avengers, Fantastic Four, Hulk and Spider-Man.Few can match Ron Frenz’s record of substantial stints on two of comicdom’s most influential and revered characters, Spider-Man and Superman, both of whom he provided with controversial new looks. Frenz succeeded John Romita Jr. on Amazing Spider-Man, and his artwork was favorably compared to Steve Ditko’s original web-slinger. With Roger Stern, he introduced the Hobgoblin, covering the mysterious villain’s debut and revealing his identity more than a decade later in Hobgoblin Lives. With writer Tom DeFalco on Thor, Frenz debuted a new look and identity for Marvel’s Thunder God, eventually branching into Thunderstrike. Later, Frenz and DeFalco launched the MC2 Universe, home of Spider-Girl, the only Marvel heroine to reach 100 consecutive issues.Best known for long runs on Spider-Girl and Untold Tales of Spider-Man, artist Pat Olliffe has also illustrated such Marvel series as Nomad, Sensational She-Hulk, Thor, Thor Corps, Unlimited Access, Warlock and the Infinity Watch, Last Hero Standing and Last Planet Standing.

The latter helped inspire Marvel’s Thor feature film, on which he shares a writing credit. Jim Lee is perhaps today’s hottest comic-book artist. Since the late ’80s, his work for Marvel, DC and Image — the company he helped found — has set trends that survive to this day. After honing his skills with memorable runs on Alpha Flight and Punisher War Journal, Lee rose to prominence on Uncanny X-Men. Lee then revamped the mutant team’s look and helped launch the second X-Men series, whose first issue remains one of the best-selling comic books of all time. In 1992, he and other artists formed Image Comics. Lee’s group of titles, published under the Wildstorm Productions imprint, included the mega-popular WildC.A.T.s, Stormwatch and Gen13. Under Wildstorm’s sub-imprint Homage Comics, he published Kurt Busiek’s Astro City and Strangers in Paradise, both of which became major fan favorites. Lee returned to Marvel in 1996, relaunching Fantastic Four as part of the “Heroes Reborn” event. Subsequently selling Wildstorm to DC Comics, Lee went on to pencil Batman, Superman and WildC.A.T.s. Later, as DC Comics’ co-publisher, he helped revamp and reconceptualize the company’s entire lineup.Scott Lobdell wrote both Uncanny X-Men and X-Men during the 1990s. He also launched Generation X and Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix, and penned Alpha Flight and Fantastic Four. Elsewhere, he wrote Dark Horse’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer with Fabian Nicieza, Wildstorm’s Gen13, Top Cow’s Darkness, and IDW’s Ghostbusters: Displaced Aggression and Galaxy Quest. Lobdell scripted Stan Lee’s animated film Mosaic and has performed as a stand-up comedian.Since his start on the New Universe’s Psi-Force and backup stories in Classic X-Men, Fabian Nicieza has written most of Marvel’s major super-teams — including Alpha Flight, the Avengers, the New Warriors, the Thunderbolts and the X-Men. Elsewhere, he has written both JLA and Justice League Adventures, The 99, Turok, X-Files, and others.A founding member of the star-studded Image team, Whilce Portacio became a star thanks to his work on late-’80s Marvel titles like Punisher, Uncanny X-Men and X-Factor. After time at Image during the early ’90s, he returned to Marvel with writer Jeph Loeb on Iron Man. A long illness kept him from the drawing boards until his return on Wildstorm’s Wetworks. His subsequent credits include Batman Confidential, and his first Marvel work in nearly a decade on Uncanny X-Men and Loeb’s Hulk.John Romita Jr. is a modern-day comic-art master, following in his legendary father’s footsteps. Timeless runs on Iron Man, Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man and Daredevil established him as his own man artistically, and his work on Wolverine and World War Hulk is among the most explosive comic art of the 21st century. In addition to Eternals with writer Neil Gaiman, JRJR teamed with Mark Millar on the creator-owned Kick-Ass, later developed into a blockbuster feature film starring Nicolas Cage. Spidey fans rejoiced at the artist’s return to Amazing Spider-Man with the “Brand New Day” storylines “New Ways To Die” and “Character Assassination.” He later helped relaunch Avengers with writer Brian Michael Bendis and Captain America with Rick Remender, and contributed to the blockbuster crossover Avengers vs. X-Men. For DC Comics, he drew big-name characters such as Superman, Batman and the Suicide Squad before making a welcome return home to Marvel and Amazing Spider-Man.After an artistic apprenticeship under famed father Joe Kubert, Andy Kubert got his start on DC’s space-opera variations Adam Strange and Warlord, as well as the best-selling crossover Batman vs. Predator in collaboration with brother Adam. Kubert’s Marvel career began with a six-year stint on X-Men — continuing into Thor, Ka-Zar, Ghost Rider and others. He collaborated with Orson Scott Card on Ultimate Iron Man, Neil Gaiman on Marvel 1602 and Paul Jenkins on Wolverine: Origin.

In 2008, she was one of the winners of the ChesterQuest International Talent Search and has since worked for Marvel Comics on such titles as NYX, Runaways, Eternals, X-Men: Pixie Strikes Back and Namora. She joined writer Brian Michael Bendis on Ultimate Spider-Man, and together the pair introduced the new Spider-Man, Miles Morales, in the pages of Ultimate Fallout and Ultimate Comics Spider-Man. Later, Frenz and DeFalco launched the MC2 Universe, home of Spider-Girl, the only Marvel heroine to reach one hundred consecutive issues.

Michael Fleisher notched an indelible place in comics history in 1974, writing a series of Spectre stories that were some of the most graphically violent tales ever published at the time. During that time, Fleisher also collaborated with Steve Ditko on Shade the Changing Man, an offbeat hero bearing a reality-altering M-Vest.Jim Shooter entered the comic-book field at age 14 as writer and penciler of the “Legion of Super-Heroes” feature in Adventure Comics. Later moving to Marvel, he wrote Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Marvel Team-Up, Marvel Two-in-One and other titles. As editor in chief, he tightened Marvel’s publishing schedule; added new titles; nurtured fresh talent; launched the New Universe; and wrote the 12-issue Secret Wars and its sequel, Secret Wars II. Eventually leaving Marvel, Shooter wrote for Valiant, Defiant and Broadway Comics before entering different creative fields at Phobos Entertainment and TGS Inc. Later returning to DC to write Legion of Super-Heroes, he subsequently helped revamp Gold Key heroes at Dark Horse.A creative stalwart that put his all into his work on long-running series like Ghost Rider and Defenders, Don Perlin plied his talents in virtually every discipline in the comic-book field — penciling, inking, creating new characters and sometimes editing and writing. A student of Burne Hogarth’s, Perlin launched his career in 1951, drawing horror comics for various publishers and also penciling Will Eisner’s The Spirit. After serving in the Army, Perlin returned to comics with Harvey in the late ’50s as well as Charlton in the ’60s. In 1973, he began his long association with Marvel, finishing John Buscema’s art on Thor and inking several titles. He took over Werewolf by Night from Mike Ploog, penciling and inking the book for much of the next two years. He also penciled and inked the supernatural adventures of Johnny Blaze in Ghost Rider, his name becoming very closely identified with Marvel’s monster biker. In the ’80s, he drew Defenders for a long run before turning his attention to Marvel’s adaptation of Hasbro’s Transformers. His early ’90s work on Valiant’s Solar, Man of the Atom and Bloodshot was extremely popular, after which Perlin went into semiretirement.

He is best known for lengthy runs on Ghost Rider and Deadpool, and took a turn at Marvel’s most deadly father-son team in Wolverine: Origins and Dark Wolverine (co-written with Marjorie Liu). Their work earned overwhelming praise from the title’s devoted fan base and led to a second collaboration on Preacher, which earned an “A” grade from Entertainment Weekly and was later turned into a TV series on AMC. After Preacher’s 66-issue run, Dillon again teamed with Ennis on a revival of Marvel’s classic antihero, Punisher. Dillon later illustrated Daniel Way’s Wolverine: Origins, Ennis’ Punisher: War Zone, Mark Millar’s Ultimate Avengers and Jason Aaron’s PunisherMAX. Dillon again drew Frank Castle for Marvel NOW! in the relaunched Thunderbolts and later in All-New, All-Different Marvel’s The Punisher.

A few years after teaming with then-new Daredevil writer Brian Michael Bendis on the “Wake Up” arc, he returned to the title for the “Echo: Vision Quest” storyline, which reintroduced readers to the unique character he created in “Parts of a Hole.” Mack continues to write and illustrate his creator-owned series, New York Times Best Seller Kabuki, now published by Marvel’s Icon imprint, and has been nominated for several Eisner, Kirby and Harvey awards. He is also serving as the visual designer and co-producer on the forthcoming Kabuki feature film. Mack wrote the adaptation of Philip K. The Mantlo/Buscema team reigned over Hulk for an astounding six-year run!Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema continue their indestructible Incredible Hulk run by asking the question: What if Bruce Banner’s gamma-powered other self wasn’t an unhinged engine of destruction? It’s “mind over monster” for Marvel’s green goliath as Banner’s intellect dominates his mean, green form, leading him on a journey of self-discovery that ends on the doorstep of the White House! Guest-starring just about everyone in the Marvel Universe, it’s a Hulk saga for the ages! Plus: a pair of Hulk-sized Annuals, Banner fuses with the cosmic power of Captain Universe, and Hulk battles the Avengers–plus Frank Miller’s first Marvel story!COLLECTING: Incredible Hulk (1968) #263-279, Incredible Hulk Annual (1968) #10-11, Incredible Hulk vs. Quasimodo (1983) #1Written by Bill Mantlo With Jo DuffyPenciled by Sal Buscema With Rick Leonardi, Rich Buckler, Frank Miller & Mark Gruenwald

Also renowned as an editor on both long-running and short-lived series, Jo Duffy has written runs of Power Man and Iron Fist, Marvel Team-Up, Wolverine and others. In addition, she regularly penned Marvel’s adaptations of Star Wars, Conan the Barbarian and Akira. Duffy wrote the New Mutants tie-in miniseries Fallen Angels and cowrote several Speedball stories from Steve Ditko’s plots. Her later work includes DC’s Catwoman and Image’s Glory.Bill Mantlo began his Marvel career on Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, in which he introduced White Tiger, one of the industry’s earliest Hispanic super heroes. Eventually writing stories for almost every Marvel title, he did some of his most fondly remembered work on Incredible Hulk and Spectacular Spider-Man. He also created Rocket Raccoon, launched Cloak & Dagger in a pair of miniseries and guided Alpha Flight through some of its most harrowing ordeals. Mantlo excelled at integrating licensed properties into the Marvel Universe, as demonstrated by Micronauts and Rom, both of which he wrote from start to finish. At DC, he wrote the Invasion miniseries for one of the company’s biggest crossover events. After a start as inker to his older brother John, Sal Buscema penciled Captain America, Defenders, Incredible Hulk and more. Famed for his ability to meet tight deadlines, he spread his talents across multiple genres. His 1970s work ranged from Ms. Marvel and Nova to Sub-Mariner and Spider-Woman’s first appearance in Marvel Spotlight. He was the uninterrupted artist on Spectacular Spider-Man for more than a hundred issues and penciled the web-slinger’s adventures in Marvel Team-Up, in which he and writer Bill Mantlo introduced Captain Jean DeWolff. After handling more team-ups in the Thing’s Marvel Two-in-One, he reunited with brother John on Steve Englehart’s Fantastic Four. He later provided inks for Tom DeFalco’s Spider-Girl titles and Thunderstrike miniseries. His place in Marvel history assured when he helped introduce Deathlok in the pages of Astonishing Tales, Rich Buckler also penciled several storylines in Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man — along with runs on Jungle Action’s Black Panther, Fantastic Four, Thor and other monthly titles, as well as Roy Thomas’s miniseries Saga of the Sub-Mariner and Saga of the Original Human Torch. Buckler’s 1970s DC work includes Lois Lane, Secret Society of Super-Villains and World’s Finest, as well as the groundbreaking Superman vs. Shazam. During the 1980s, he and Thomas collaborated on All-Star Squadron. He worked in the barbarian and horror genres for both Marvel and DC, illustrated Archie’s Mighty Crusaders, and contributed to black-and-white magazines for both Marvel and Warren Publishing. He was editor of the short-lived Solson Publications and wrote two books on comic-book art.
