Multiple Eagle Award winner Paul Gulacy made history as artist on one of comicdom’s first graphic novels, Eclipse Comics’ Sabre (1978), written by Don McGregor. At Marvel, he collaborated with writer Doug Moench on two incarnations of Master of Kung Fu, two Six from Sirius miniseries and the “Coldblood” feature in Marvel Comics Presents. The two also worked together at DC on Slash Maraud and multiple Batman titles/storylines, and at Dark Horse on James Bond 007: Serpent’s Tooth; he has also drawn Dark Horse adaptations from the Star Wars and Terminator franchises and provided art for an array of series at DC and elsewhere. Gulacy collaborated with writer Cary Bates on Marvel’s True Believers miniseries in 2008.
