esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Talking peaches, magic tea, frightening wildlife, and more—the award-winning fantasy epic graphic novel that critics called “an intoxicating and visually stunning Australian Narnia” is now collected into a single massive volume! The last school bell has rung, and it’s finally HOME TIME! Even though they’re twins, Lily and David don’t agree on much…except that the last summer before high school is the perfect time for relaxing with friends. But their plans for sleepovers, fantasy games, and romance are thrown out the window when the whole gang falls into a river and wakes up in a village of fantastic creatures. Hailed as magical spirits, threatened by lizards, and trained in the mysterious arts of tea-brewing, these kids must find their way home—if they don’t throttle each other first.Featuring a kaleidoscope of art styles, a puzzle-box narrative structure, and a spectacular reimagining of his childhood hometown, Campbell Whyte’s astonishing Australian fantasy series is now collected in one volume for the first time.
Campbell Whyte was born in Perth, where he makes stories about place and strives to create an inclusive and supportive comics community. As the co-founder of the Milktooth School of Art and Stories with Elizabeth Marruffo, he provides opportunities for young people to develop their comics skills and publish their works. As a co-founder of the Perth Comic Arts Festival, he has helped grow and steer the organization to become one of Australia’s most significant comic events.

Welcome to the Conservatory. After Earth was shattered into surviving pockets across the galaxy, humanity’s most talented young women train at this prestigious celestial boarding school to become the next generation of mech pilots. But these students aren’t soldiers, they’re ballerinas; and the mechs aren’t built for battle, but performance. All engineered in body and mind to entertain a ruling class of cosmic patrons in an annual life-or-death recital of mankind’s only unifying story: the saga of Appolyta the Huntress, a goddess whose pursuit of one last elusive prey ends in heartbreak. This year’s top recruits, the quietly ambitious Mar and rebellious Rhea, endure a cutthroat curriculum to compete for the crowning title of Prima Apparata. As their bond deepens and Mar’s obsessive quest puts her under the wing of Appolyta herself, the line between art and indoctrination blurs—and the great personal cost of perfection will transform their lives. Black Swan and Never Let Me Go meet Pacific Rim in this groundbreaking space opera from rising debut writer Olivia Dufault (Love Ignited, FX’s Legion) and fan-favorite veteran illustrator Rebekah Isaacs (BRZRKR: Fallen Empire, Money Shot)!

Dan Slott has built a loyal fan base by combining old-school fun with stories and characterizations friendly to new readers. Following his run on She-Hulk, Slott moved into the upper echelon of Marvel writers, launching Avengers: The Initiative and taking the reins on Mighty Avengers from Brian Michael Bendis. When Marvel gave Spider-Man a fresh start in 2008, Slott was one of several rotating writers on the thrice-monthly Amazing Spider-Man. Slott became the writer most closely identified with the web-slinger’s “Brand New Day” era, and the title hit the “Big Time” when he took over as full-time writer for a decade-long run. Slott has also turned his talents to other iconic Marvel heroes — including soaring the spaceways with Silver Surfer; helming Tony Stark: Iron Man toward Iron Man 2020; and masterminding the glorious return of Fantastic Four, leading to his long-awaited “Reckoning War.” In 2022, Slott made his way back to the Spider-Verse, teaming with legendary penciler Mark Bagley on Spider-Man and introducing the sidekick sensation Spider-Boy.Artist Olivier Coipel caught the eyes of Avengers fans with his work in a series of startlingly fresh and exciting stories in 2004, then delivered a star turn on the 2005 blockbuster limited series House of M. Proving his mettle with the grand splendor and huge cast of a Marvel epic, he earned the plum assignment of restoring the hallowed halls of Asgard to grandeur in J. Michael Straczynski’s Thor. Again called on to illustrate a Marvel mega-event, Coipel reunited with House of M writer Brian Michael Bendis on Siege. His subsequent credits include returns to the world of the Thunder God, as well as contributions to Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men and Avengers vs. X-Men.

THE SERIES THAT RE-DEFINED COMICS START HERE! From one of the greatest storytellers of his generation, Grant Morrison's Animal Man took a forgotten DC Comics character and reimagined him in a groundbreaking, postmodern series that redefined what was possible in superhero comics. Buddy Baker, a.k.a. The Man with Animal Powers, is a second-rate superhero, devoted father, and animal activist. There isn't much money in the hero game, and with a wife and kids to support, Buddy soon finds himself torn between trying to make a living through traditional super-heroics and getting more deeply involved in the questionably legal world of animal rights activism. But in today's world with real-life issues, who really needs Animal Man's protection? Is it humankind or the animals? Or is it Buddy himself? From the Eisner Award-winning writer Grant Morrison and Eisner Award-nominated artist Chaz Truog comes one of their earliest works exploring the nature of reality itself through the lens of a down-on-his-luck family-man superhero. This first of two trade paperback editions collects ANIMAL MAN #1-13, the character's dimension-spanning creation tale from SECRET ORIGINS #39, and an introduction by Grant Morrison. (immagine)
