For 2 decades he drew for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, notably Power Man and Iron Fist, Iron Man, G.I. Joe, Gren Lantern, and Black Panther. A founding contributor to Milestone Media Inc., an innovative superhero imprint focusing on creators and characters of color, he drew nearly the entire run of Icon. Mark Bright co-created and drew Quantum and Woody for Acclaim, and then mostly left comics to storyboard commercials, television series, and feature films such as Step Up and The Last Airbender.
