Rebuilt by the Xiliens with crazy new weaponry the so-called 'Modified Gigan' comes to life as the ART SPIRITS AT-041 HYPER SOLID SERIES GIGAN LIMITED EDITION! Sleek and vicious as before, the monstrous cyborg in non-scale painted PVC statue form strides confidently through wreckage left by its brutal attacks, practically daring its opponents to get within reach of its deadly weapons. Gigan is mostly humanoid in shape with ribbed and textured skin studded with armor and spikes. The kaiju has a long, armored tail curving around its body and poised to strike, but while the previous version wielded hooked blades instead of hands, the limited edition variant has twin massive double-pronged chainsaws! Its regular array of weaponry still includes a line of spikes starting at its head and going down its back, and even a wicked vertical saw blade in its torso. Gigan's skin is replicated with a shiny dark blue color while a deep red appears on the membranes of its triple frills and the robotic eye visor; meanwhile, the cyborg's armor plating, weapons, and toothed beak with mandibles are a menacing dark metallic silver. The limited edition version also replaces Gigan's foremost head spike with a serrated blade, and the creature now has a reinforced, armored neck collar to protect it from attacks. The upgraded Gigan stands just under 10 ½ inches tall on its highly detailed urban rubble display base. A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! It's been a little while, but Koto's amazing X-Men Danger Room Sessions Fine Art Statue series is back! The last time we visited the X-Men training facility was with the Cajun hero Gambit, but now the mutants are more formidable than ever with their leader CYCLOPS! Scott Summers was one of the original five teenaged X-Men who trained with Professor Xavier, and ever since he's led X-Men as they fight for the survival of mutants everywhere. Cyclops is so named for his monocular ruby quartz visor; he can flip it open to unleash powerful optic blasts against his opponents! Being a long-standing member of the X-Men means that Cyclops has done a lot of training in the Danger Room. Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, 'X' teams have trained together in the ultra high tech facility known as the Danger Room, equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film. Celebrating the classic look of Scott Summers from the Jim Lee era of the early 1990s, the mutant leader and tactical genius prepares an optic blast for whatever the Danger Room can throw at him. Cyclops wears what many consider to be his coolest costume, a sleek blue bodysuit with bright yellow accessories like trunks, gloves, boots, harness, and a variety of belts. While not always the most physically imposing X-Man, 'Slim' here shows that he's been working out with a powerful physique and tensed muscles. Cyclops leans forward with arms outstretched at his sides in a classic pose that means he's about to unleash a blast of massive concussive force. The mutant leader has all of the fine attention to detail you've come to know and love from the Danger Room Sessions series, especially in the nuances of his costume. Each belt and strap is individually sculpted along with pouches and 'X' symbols. Cyclops has an excellent head sculpt that captures the hero's ferocious intensity as well as his windblown brown hair. Sculpted by Erick Sosa, Cyclops stands 10 ? inches tall in 1/6th scale with the other Danger Room Sessions members like Psylocke, Wolverine, and Colossus. Also like them, Scott Summers stands on a unique Danger Room holographic environment; this one features half of a smashed Sentinel head! The last Star Trek telelvision show was simply called Enterprise. It featured the predecessor to the famous U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. The Enterprise NX-01 was the first insterstellar exploration craft. Though the shape was sleak, it lacked certain aspects that came with the expectations of an 'Enterprise.' After the show wrapped up series production designer, Doug Drexler, took the ship's design to the next stage. By adjusting the warp engines a bit and adding a secondary hull, the NX-01 Refit bore a closer resemblance to Captain Kirk's version of the ship. This kit includes options to build either the NX-01 or, for the first time, the NX-01 Refit version of the Enterprise. The box art features new rendering by ship designer Doug Drexler. From Kotobukiya. A special color variant to the Avengers NOW! Iron Man ArtFX+ Statue! Marvel Comics is the next great property to get Kotobukiya's ArtFX+ statue treatment, and so of course the first series is none other than the Avengers, specifically the characters as they appear in Marvel NOW! In 2012 the comic book company relaunched several titles, shifting some characters into different books and updating some for a modern audience. More than anything, it provided a perfect jumping on point for new readers. Now the characters are brought to life as never before based on concept artwork by superstar artist Adi Granov. Arriving alongside the final Avenger is the first alternate version in the lineup, the Iron Man Red Color Variant! Created in 1963 by a group of comic book luminaries (including Stan Lee and Jack Kirby), Tony Stark was a rich playboy whose capture during the Cold War led him to create a technologically advanced powered armor suit bristling with weapons and science-fiction gadgets. Best known for fighting enemies such as Mandarin and Crimson Dynamo, Stark would over the years combat his own personal demons as well, making him a very nuanced, interesting and popular character the world over. While he would continue to improve and upgrade his armors, the brilliant industrialist/hero would also help found the premier Marvel superhero group the Avengers and fight with them all the way into the current Marvel NOW! Universe. With a fresh start Tony appeared there with a brand new suit of Iron Man armor featuring a sleek design, but where the standard version is bold in black and gold, this variant edition takes its color scheme from the classic armors in bright red and gold! The Iron Avenger stands at the ready, turned to his side as he raises his right hand to aim a repulsor at the enemy. Iron Man's armor is intricately detailed with layers, panels, vents, and other technological components like secondary repulsors, and the metallic paint really makes it shine. Sculpted by the same master artist who did the rest of this Avengers series, Junnosuke Abe (RESTORE), Iron Man stands just under 8-1/2' H (in the ArtFX+ 1/10th scale) on his included magnetic display base.
