esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

An all-new edition of groundbreaking, flagship D&Q author Julie Doucet’s glorious contribution to the graphic memoir canonIn 1991, pioneering cartoonist Julie Doucet packed up her life and moved to New York. Thirty-five years later, the diary she kept lives on as a classic of autobio and literary comics.Doucet takes readers through a chaotic yet deeply relatable time. Trouble crops up at every other turn through a toxic on-again-off-again relationship, her creative insecurities in a male-dominated art scene, her worsening epilepsy, and a tendency to self-medicate with booze and drugs. This unapologetic, no-holds-barred account of an artist’s day-to-day in her mid-20s captures the highs and lows of modern womanhood. New York’s 90s underground scene comes to life in strikingly detailed panels with messy uptown apartments, crowded punk clubs, and unmanicured, trash-lined city sidewalks in all its dingy glamour. Each and every panel of My New York Diary is jam-packed with the exquisitely blocky flourishes that cemented Doucet’s reputation and earned her the Grand Prix d’Angoulême in 2022.
Mature
Julie Doucet was born near Montreal in 1965 and is best known for her frank, funny, and sometimes shocking comic book series Dirty Plotte, which changed the landscape of alternative cartooning. In the 1990s, Doucet moved between New York, Seattle, Berlin, and Montreal, publishing the graphic novels My New York Diary, Lift Your Leg, My Fish is Dead!, My Most Secret Desire, and The Madame Paul Affair. In 2000, she quit comics to concentrate on other art forms. From these experiments emerged the collection of engravings and prints Long Time Relationship; her one-year visual journal, 365 Days; and sassy collages from fumetto comics, Carpet Sweeper Tales. Her post-comics artwork includes silkscreened artist's books, text-based collages, sculpture, and animation films. She published her most recent book, Time Zone J in 2022 and was the first woman cartoonist from Quebec to win the Grand Prix d’Angoulême that same year.

Writer J. Michael Straczynski made pop-culture history with the epic TV series Babylon 5. In 1999, Straczynski penned Top Cow’s Rising Stars, leading to an offer from Marvel to write Amazing Spider-Man, a title he revolutionized. “JMS†went on to write Supreme Power, Fantastic Four, Bullet Points, The Twelve and a fan-favorite revival of Thor. The latter helped inspire Marvel’s Thor feature film, on which he shares a writing credit. JMS’ screenplay for Changeling was directed by Clint Eastwood and starred Angelina Jolie, while his other movie credits include Underworld: Awakening and World War Z. For DC Comics, he has written iconic characters Superman and Wonder Woman.Peter David is one of the industry’s most prolific and versatile writers whose record-breaking stint on Incredible Hulk remains a fan-favorite to this day. His other Marvel work includes Captain Marvel, two lengthy stints on Spider-Man 2099, Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider and the smash-hit Symbiote Spider-Man limited series and its sequels with artist Greg Land. In 2005, Hudlin wrote Birth of a Nation, a satirical graphic novel produced with Boondocks creator Aaron McGruder and award-winning cartoonist Kyle Baker. Classically trained at New York’s prestigious High School of Art and Design, Jimmy Palmiotti began his career as a comic-book inker, gaining a reputation as not only talented, but fast. Collaborating with fellow artist Joe Quesada, Palmiotti lent his skills to such projects as Batman: Sword of Azrael, The Ray and Ninjak. In 1995, Palmiotti and Quesada founded Event Comics, creating the memorable titles Ash and Painkiller Jane. This led to an offer from Marvel Comics to revamp several heroes under the Marvel Knights banner. With writer Kevin Smith and Quesada, Palmiotti’s work on Daredevil became a monumental success. Palmiotti later began to take on comic-book writing chores with a lengthy run on Harley Quinn along with his creator-owned books. After co-creating Image Comics’ Hyperkinetic with Howard M. Shum, Matteo Scalera moved to Marvel to pencil and ink issues of Deadpool Corps, Deadpool Team-Up and related titles before shifting to such team books as Secret Avengers and Wolverine & the X-Men. At Boom! Studios, he has provided art for Chris Roberson’s Starborn and Michael Alan Nelson’s Valen the Outcast, as well as covers for Mark Waid’s Irredeemable and Incorruptible.Frank Tieri entered the early part of the new century as writer on diverse titles such as Wolverine, Iron Man and Weapon X. His Hercules limited series cast the Avenger as a reality-TV star reliving his twelve trials, continuing the lighthearted legacy of Olympus’ favorite son. Tieri’s Underworld and Civil War: War Crimes explored the effects of the heroes’ registration fight on Marvel’s criminal element. World War Hulk: Gamma Corps followed the next generation of gamma-irradiated superhumans as they sought to kill the Hulk. And Dark Reign: Lethal Legion charted the crash-and-burn exploits of an ad hoc team of bad guys as they vainly sought to topple Norman Osborn from power. Tieri, whose Marvel credits also includes New Excalibur, explored Weirdworld in the pages of Black Knight.Artist Darick Robertson illustrated all sixty issues of Transmetropolitan with writer Warren Ellis. In the Fury limited series for Marvel, Robertson and Garth Ennis presented a graphically realistic vision of what it means to be the leader of the world’s biggest spy organization. He and Ennis next collaborated on the Marvel Knights Punisher series and later launched the controversial creator-owned series The Boys, now a smash-hit streaming series. In addition to his lengthy run on New Warriors, Robertson’s other Marvel credits include Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Toxin. After his start on Action Force and Transformers for Marvel UK, Anthony Williams penciled Marvel’s Squadron Supreme: New World Order one-shot, Hokum and Hex (a Clive Barker creation), and DC’s Fate. In the pages of 2000 AD, he collaborated with Dan Abnett, Garth Ennis, Mark Millar and Grant Morrison, among other noted British writers.Georges Jeanty helped build the popularity of mutants Bishop and Gambit on their respective solo series in the 1990s, and went on to further acclaim with The American Way for DC Comics’ Wildstorm imprint. Hi other Marvel credits include Deadpool and Weapon X. Jeanty demonstrated his flair for media tie-in work as the artist for the comic-book continuation of the beloved TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a skill set he utilized to great effect on Marvel’s adaptation of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. In addition to Deadpool, multitalented penciler, inker and writer Jim Calafiore has worked on many issues of Exiles during its lengthy run, and has an extensive list of credits for both Marvel and DC Comics.
