Seanan McGuire is a California-based author with a strong penchant for travel and can regularly be found just about anyplace capable of supporting human life (as well as a few places that probably aren’t). Early exposure to a vast number of books left her with a lifelong affection for the written word, and led, perhaps inevitably, to her writing books of her own, starting somewhere around the age of eleven. He is much in demand for his hard-edged, wickedly humorous style.Becky Cloonan is an American comic book artist and creator known for her manga-influenced artwork. Her first major comics work came when she teamed with writer Brian Wood to create Channel Zero: Jennie One. However, she is best known for her second collaboration with Wood, DEMO, a 12-issue limited series that was named "Indie of the Year" by Wizard Magazine in 2004 and nominated for two Eisner Awards including Best Limited Series. Yoshikazu Yasuhiko is a Japanese animator and manga artist, who also has been noted as a published author and an illustrator of children's books and young adult books. His career as a character designer has spanned three decades, creating famed characters for such anime as Space Cruiser Yamato, Brace Raideen, and the widely known Mobile Suit Gundam. Considered a pivotal player in mecha and sci-fi anime, Yasuhiko's characters, stories and illustrations are unmistakable in their style and serve as timeless examples as pioneers of manga and animation in Japan.Born in 1947, Yasuhiko began his career as an animator in Osama Tezuka's Mushi Productions, and later on decided to go freelance to work for a number of animation productions for both film and television. In 1981, he took home a Seiun award for Best Artist of the Year. Praise and accolades continued for Yasuhiko, when he took home the Nippon Mangaka Kyokai (Japan Cartoonists Society) award in 1992, followed by an Excellence Prize in manga for Ōdō no Inu at the Japan Media Arts Festival in 2000.
