Acme X-Ray, published as a giclee on paper, is inspired by 'Dynamite Diagnosis,' a limited-edition sericel produced in 1993 by Warner Bros. Animation Art. The character setup was originally created in-house by Warner Bros. animators working within their Classic Animation department. The background was originally rendered by veteran background painter, Hector Martinez, who, in addition to the Looney Tunes, has also worked on the Batman and Superman animated series. As the site where the Independents lost their struggle and the Alliance cemented its nearly uncontested dominance of the 'Verse, it's surprising how little we know about Serenity Valley - until now, that is! Thanks to the exhaustive labors of 'Verse historian and QMx artisan Ben Mund, we have at last an exceptionally detailed map of this historic site where an empire was forged and freedom was struck a near-fatal blow. This 30' x 26 1/2' lithograph is printed on 100-pound, satin-finish paper and contains a complete topographical rendering of the infamous valley, including many landmarks and other details of historic importance dating back to 2506, just prior to the outbreak of hostilities that would become known as the Unification War. Artisan Jim Shore has combined the familiar characters of Disney with the classic art styles of early Americana, creating a unique and classic line of figures called Disney Traditions. The latest figurines in the series feature the Disney Princesses, bringing these familiar to characters to life as collectible figurines. Princess Ariel from The Little Mermaid is 'The Princess of the Sea' in a 7' tall figurine. Princess Aurora, better known as Sleeping Beauty, is a 'Princess of Beauty,' also a 7' tall figurine. Belle from Beauty and the Beast stands 7' tall as the 'Princess of Knowledge.' Cinderella also stands 7' tall as the 'Princess of Dreams.' Finally, Snow White is the 'Princess of Innocence' as a 7' tall figurine. Each of these Disney Traditions figurines features the Princesses atop a carousel horse, and these figurines can be displayed together on the Disney Princess Carousel Displayer Base that when two bases are put together will create a round carousel.
