esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

The first of a new six-volume series collecting the sketches and notes behind Hal Foster's creation of the Prince Valiant comic strip. In the works for several years, Hal Foster's Prince Valiant Sketchbooks: An Illustrated Memoir presents never-before-published Prince Valiant art by the strip's legendary creator, Hal Foster, collected in a series of six annotated portfolio volumes. Part sketchbooks, part biography, part tutorial, part memoir-Hal Foster's Prince Valiant Sketchbooks is an unprecedented look into Foster's personal life and creative process during his final nine years on the strip. It's also a fascinating look behind the curtains as Foster coached and interacted with his chosen successor: John Cullen Murphy. Produced with the full permission and participation of the Foster and Murphy families, this series is a testament to author and Prince Valiant historian Brian M. Kane's research prowess and determination to bring Hal Foster's creative process to light. This uniquely intimate view of Foster's creative process is a long-awaited dream come true for Prince Valiant fans. Over the course of these volumes, Kane annotates with painstaking clarity and thoroughness 366 penciled layout pages, 40 character sketches, and 577 text pages of Foster's descriptions and instructions for each panel. Also featured are an additional 143 pieces of art, mostly by Foster, 100 photographs detailing his life and career, and 123 personal letters and notes, all adding immeasurably to this exploration of Foster's life and art, as well as his collaboration with Murphy. The first in a series of 10 oversized softcover editions, each one containing a half-decade's worth of Peanuts Sunday strips, elegantly restored and remastered in warm, vibrant full color. Charles M. Schulz's beloved comic strip Peanuts has largely been collected and reprinted in black and white. But many who read the comic strip during its original newspaper run remain fond of its brightly colored Sunday pages, which made for a surprisingly different and fulfilling reading experience. The debut volume in this series, Peanuts Every Sunday: 1952-1955, compiles the first four years of the strip. This collection offers a fascinating peek at Schulz's creative process, as iconic characters such as Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Schroeder, Linus, and Lucy quickly evolve from their initial renderings to the elegant stylizations we've all come to know and love. Our Peanuts Every Sunday series collects all of the Peanuts Sunday strips, scrupulously restored and re-colored to look better than they ever have. These gorgeous, oversized softcover editions allow fans and new readers to immerse themselves in Schulz's timeless masterpiece. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

In 1998, Matz’s hit series, The Killer, with artist Luc Jacamon, made its comic book debut. It became a bestseller that found its way onto the shelves of bookstores in many countries, all the way to the USA with Archaia. It was then optioned by Paramount for a movie that has drawn the interest of director David Fincher (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). Matz has also created a new line of comic books, Rivages/Casterman/Noir, which are adaptations of noir novels. But Matz’s day job for the last 15 years has been to write for the videogame industry, as he has been an employee at Ubisoft. Now in charge of the writing department, Matz has been involved with games such as Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Prince of Persia, and the Assassin’s Creed series.Luc Jacamon had his first moves in the comics field in 1986. In the following years, he focused on illustration work, however. In October 1998, he published his first album with Casterman publishers. This album, Long Feu, was the first in the series Le Tueur, which he created with scriptwriter Matz. This critically acclaimed series, deals with the life and psychology of a hitman, a character different from the stereotypes of detective novels and cinema. After a cycle of five albums, Jacamon and Matz ended their prize-winning series in 2003, and launched the futuristic saga Cyclopes.

This all-new Twilight Zone anthology series continues with standalone stories by some of the best creators in comics today! Each issue is a fresh tale in the vein of the iconic original television series that’s captivated audiences for over 60 years. And like the show, these stories will be revealed in terrifying black and white!THIS ISSUE: At the farthest reaches of the galaxy, beyond the horizon of humanity and the hopes for salvation, a spaceship of slumbering astronauts journeys in search of intelligent alien life. They’ve left behind their families, their planet, their pasts, and all the trauma and comforts those things contained. But our crew of adventurers will find their pasts are never that far behind them and intelligent alien life has its own plans for their future…in the Twilight Zone! From the surreal mind of Tom Scioli, the cartoonist who brought you Jack Kirby, Fantastic Four: Grand Design (Marvel), the Transformers vs G.I. Joe crossover, and Godzilla Monsterpiece Theatre (IDW).
