The design of the battleship has been based on the latest addition to the series, Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love. The body of the model is approximately 6 1/4' in length, with the ships turrets capable of being rotated as well as interchangeable parts to deploy the safety wings on the sides of the ship. In addition to the battleship itself, the model also comes complete with an asteroid ring to fully recreate the famous scene from the series! The United States Postal Service in 2007 issued a sheet of 20 postage stamps that featured Marvel Comics' greatest heroes, from Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk to the Fantastic Four and Captain America. These stamps featured artwork taken from Marvel Comics' long history, and the sheets were popular both with stamp collectors and Marvel collectors. The United States Postal Service, for the first time, has authorized these Marvel Comics stamps to be minted as solid silver ingots, and this collection will also include pure silver medallions that feature the artwork from the stamp series. The first releases the Ulimate Marvel Collection include Spider-Man/Green Goblin and Iron Man/Mandarin. Each set comes with one character ingot and one character medallion on blister-card packaging.
