esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Welcome to a future, where the true natures of mankind prove to be inescapable no matter how far you travel in this explosive sci-fi prison drama by brilliant creators Sylvain Runberg (Warship Jolly Roger) and Grun (Space Relic Hunters). Who is really in control? And can anyone truly claim a planet on the verge of forced evolution? In 2132, life on Earth has reached the limits of sustainability. Colonizing Mars has become our only option, and the construction of such a significant enterprise has required massive resources and manpower. The most cost-efficient solution to this requirement is conscripted labor provided by convicted felons—early access to humanity’s future homeworld, but in exchange for the back-breaking and perilous work of constructing the damn thing. Officer Jasmine Stenford is sent to Mars and sentenced to conscripted labor for a wrongful death committed on her watch. With little defense against the corruption on Earth, she has no idea what sort of nightmare awaits her on the red planet . . .This complete edition features the complete story, as well as a 48-page production sketchbook by artist Grun drafted as a prisoner diary.

Born in 1971, Sylvain Ruberg grew up reading Franco-Belgian and American comics while watching the first wave of Japanese anime, which fed both his love of the medium and engaging stories that resonate on a global scale. He now splits his time between France and Sweden. Since launching his career in 2004, Sylvain has authored 160 graphic novels, which have been translated into 26 languages and sold over 3 million copies worldwide. This includes multiple projects like the long-running ORBITAL series, WONDER WOMAN & HARLEY QUINN, SUPERMAN, WARSHIP JOLLY ROGER, Edmond Hamilton, and Toei Animation's CAPTAIN FUTURE, Stieg Larson’s THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, CONAN, WATCH DOGS: LEGION, UNDER YORK, KONUNGAR, and ZAROFF. ON MARS was Sylvain’s first work with Grun, but they have since collaborated on other projects, including the recent SPACE RELIC HUNTERS. Besides graphic novels, Sylvain has ventured into the television industry, creating five TV series. He’s currently working on the narrative design of several video games, including the “WARSHIP JOLLY ROGER†adaptation by Proxima Studios. He’s also the co-founder of Dark Riviera, an international 360° IP boutique based in Stockholm.Born Ludovic Dubois in France in 1971, Grun was fascinated by American comic books since childhood. When he discovered the works of Moebius, however, he decided to pursue his passion and become a full-time illustrator. He graduated with honors from the Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux and began designing nature magazines while also experimenting with short comic strips. He soon joined the video game company Kalisto as a concept artist and designer, but as creatively fulfilling as these pursuits were, they still weren’t comics. He soon met comic writer Eric Corbeyran (No Future), with whom he would co-create his first full comic series, THE OPAL CONSPIRACY, in 2005. METRONOM and other projects followed before meeting Sylvain Runberg and beginning work on ON MARS. These projects have established him as one of the most respected artists in the 9th Art (comics).

Is lovely Mariel Imari the world’s greatest detective, or just the laziest? Don’t commit a crime in beautiful Venice…unless you want to find out!Drawn in Kenji Tsuruta's (Emanon, Wandering Island, Captain Momo’s Secret Base) elegant black-and-white linework, this mystery manga features foldout cover (French flaps) with wraparound painted cover art, 30 pages of interior art illustrated in beautiful watercolors, all in an oversized format.Stroll along the banks of the canals in beautiful Venice, Italy, and you’ll see the slacker—a young woman noodling on her guitar, pecking a bit at her laptop, and maybe getting a little reading in. But watch your step in this ancient town, because some of the other people you might run into—the ragged derelict, the drunken streetwalker, even that clean-cut gondolier—they’re all her, too! She’s Mariel Imari, of Italian and Japanese descent, whose skill at disguise comes from being part of a famous dynasty of detectives. She’s even done an internship at Scotland Yard, where she solved 18 murders in three months! So why is her office on the canal bank, and her residence a hovel full of stray cats? Why doesn’t she get to live in her family’s ancestral Venetian mansion…instead of getting kicked out of it every morning by her butler, once she’s finished breakfast? It’s because Mariel hasn’t yet cracked the one case that would allow her to inherit her grandfather’s estate—Forget-me-not, the painting stolen from the mansion 22 years ago, which she needs to recover as a condition of his will. You see, Mariel is brilliant, but Mariel is also a bit lazy and slovenly and bored…and about to be a bit embarrassed, too when her sisters show up from Japan, under the impression that Mariel is rich! Will Mariel ever catch the master thief standing between her and an aristocratic lifestyle…and does she really want to…?For mature audiences.

Chicago in the 1990s—a city of crime that means good business for two young women: bounty hunter partners Rally and Minnie-May, the Gunsmith Cats!
Fans will love this crime manga classic from the ‘90s from the character designer of Bubblegum Crisis, printed in an over-sized format and high-quality paper.
Rally Vincent runs Gunsmith Cats—a gun shop in Illinois with her partner, demolitions expert and former call girl Minnie-May Hopkins. But Rally’s “real” job doesn’t pay the bills, her hobby does. And her hobby is bounty hunting, bringing the most wanted men and women in the Chicago area to justice—dressed in her sharp suit and tie, and driving her Shelby Cobra GT 500!
In Gunsmith Cats Omnibus Volume 2, Rally goes downtown to pick up master thief Misty Brown, who’s just gotten out of the slammer. But Misty’s no safer on the streets…not when it seems she stole some tape recordings that could incriminate a Mafia boss. And especially not when Rally stands in the way of the person trying to get the tapes back—the perverted, ruthless Goldie Musso.
Misty may be the princess of cat burglars, but Goldie is the queen of the Mafia, and those she can’t beat down, she can shoot up—with kerasine, a synthetic street drug that in Goldie’s syringe-toting hands becomes a mind control tool of exquisite finesse. Her newest subject is Rally Vincent, whom she intends to not only get revenge upon, but recruit into serving her own organization. Goldie can do both if she ends Rally’s old life—by brainwashing her into murdering detective Roy Coleman!
For mature audiences.
“…[Sonoda’s] work on series such as Bubblegum Crisis and Gall Force helped define the look of 1980s anime. His first major manga, Gunsmith Cats, proved that Sonoda is a talented writer as well. (3 ½ stars out of 4)”—Jason Thompson, Manga: The Complete Guide
