MIKE MIGNOLA’s fascination with ghosts and monsters began at an early age; reading Dracula at age twelve introduced him to Victorian literature and folklore, from which he has never recovered. Starting in 1982 as a bad inker for Marvel Comics, he evolved into a not-so-bad artist. By the late 1980s, he’d begun to develop his unique graphic style, with mainstream projects like Cosmic Odyssey and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. In 1994, he published the first Hellboy series through Dark Horse, leading to over two decades of comics spinoffs, prose books, animated films, and live-action films. He worked on Francis Ford Coppola’s film Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992), Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001), and with director Guillermo del Toro on Blade II (2002), Hellboy (2004), and Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008). A new Hellboy film by Neil Marshall is in the works. Mike’s books have earned numerous awards and are published in many countries. He lives in Southern California with his wife, daughter, and cat.JOHN ARCUDI has been telling lies since he was a boy. Eventually it became clear that this was the only thing he was any good at. After a stint writing for Marvel, he ended up at Dark Horse, where he wrote, among other things, The Mask. John is best known as cocreator of Major Bummer and A God Somewhere, both for DC Comics, and collaborating on a whole mess of comics with Mike Mignola. Despite a rare case of Sasquatch leg and the desire to run with any northbound moose migration, he found the coloring arts were a suitable profession, allowing him to build a moonshine still in the hills of Southwest Portland. His coloring garnered him industry awards, unlike his feverish gathering of dry leaves for winter bedding. And he colors on.BILL CRABTREE is an Eisner Award and Harvey Award nominated colorist who has worked in comics since 2003. Stephanie Williams is a research scientist turned prolific comic writer. She’s best known for bringing Nubia back to relevancy for DC Comics with Nubia and the Amazons and Nubia: Queen of the Amazons. Stephanie has worked on titles like Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Wreck and Roll, My Little Pony, Alien: Black, White, Blood, and many more. She has two recently announced upcoming releases, Street Sharks with IDW Publishing and the highly anticipated graphic novel adaptation of The Raven Boys.Letizia Cadonici is an Italian comic book artist born in Rome, in 1991. She worked for many Italian comic book publishers, mostly as a horror/gothic artist. Today she works for the US industry, for BOOM! Studios (House of Slaughter, The Neighbors, Hello Darkness) and for several others. She currently works on the new series Minor Arcana by Jeff Lemire (BOOM! Studios), on the Department of Truth spin-off by James Tynion IV (Image Comics), and on upcoming TBA series with Mad Cave Studios.

Joe Kelly broke into Marvel in 1997, adding his own style of irreverence to Deadpool and turning the title into a cult sensation. After runs on Daredevil and X-Men, Kelly departed for DC Comics, where he delivered award-winning work on Action Comics and Superboy. He subsequently returned to Marvel, collaborating with the “Spider-Man Brain Trust” and penning several memorable arcs on Amazing Spider-Man. Writer Ryan North went the self-publishing route to launch his comics career with Dinosaur Comics, which has run for more than 2,000 web-based strips. He describes it as basically the best job ever.
