Epic action and magical mythology clash when Zahhak—a fearsome legend infamous for his stark depiction of tyrants—proposes to Hafez to toss out the death-dealingly unpromising myth’s 7th C conclusion. Instead, Hafez must retell it with a Kirby exodus for Zahhak, to give his tale a Miller reboot in the comic industry. Tini Howard is best known as an architect of the Krakoan Age of the X-Men with her books Excalibur and X-Corp, and has enjoyed long runs on Harley Quinn and Catwoman at DC Comics. She lives and writes in Los Angeles, where she has names for all of the local cats. Marian Heretic is her fourth creator-owned comic book.Jose "Joe" Jaro is a Filipino American comic book artist and character designer. His published works include sequential and cover art for Lion Forge Comics, Image Comics, Zenescope, Action Lab Comics, as well as numerous indie books. ROMUALD GIULIVO was born in 1973 in Provins, a famous French medieval city. After scientific preparatory classes and a Grande École diploma, he became a naval architect, i.e. a manufacturer of shoeboxes that carry oil… As he dreamed of something else, he quickly set sail and escaped the Kafkaesque atmosphere of the business world by writing a series of fantasy novels around the time of the first Harry Potter books.For the past 20 years, he has divided his time between writing and playing experimental music. He publishes novels inspired by current events with L’École des Loisirs and Editions Anne Carrière, and regularly takes to the stage to set some of his texts to voice, music, and drawings with other artists.Alongside his writing activities, he has founded a cultural operator dedicated to the creation of read-alouds based on the works of a collective of authors and artists.
