A former Executive at Saban Brandsand Hasbro, Melissa played a key role in revitalizing and expanding beloved properties for new generations. Since then, she has continued her storytelling journey as a writer and producer. She’s developed projects for Stray Kite Studios, Dark Slope, MGA, and Picture Start, among others. Melissa also wrote and co-created the innovative live-action RPG superhero series The Unleashed and is the founder of KaChoppa Productions, where she develops and produces new stories that center diversity, identity, and empowerment. Melissa also voices the characters Kat Ranger and Gia Moran in Power Rangers: Battle For the Grid, and lives in Los Angeles with her girlfriend and a full house of two cats and two dogs.
