Chip Zdarsky is the pen name of Canadian comic book creator Steve Murray, known for his distinctive blend of humor, heart, and sharp storytelling. He gained widespread recognition for co-creating the acclaimed series Sex Criminals with writer Matt Fraction, which won an Eisner Award and became a cult favorite. Zdarsky has also made a mark as both a writer and artist, showcasing his talents in titles like TIME WAITS, Daredevil, Spider-Man: Life Story, and Batman. Rachael Stott is an award winning comic and cover artist based in London. She is best known for her sequential interior work for clients such as DC Comics, Marvel, IDW and Titan. Dave Wielgosz is a comic book writer who was born and raised in Holyoke, Massachusetts, currently living in Los Angeles. Showdown, co-created and drawn by Tadd Galusha, is his first creator-owned project. Prior to this he wrote 2021’s Man-Bat drawn by artist Sumit Kumar and contributed stories to comic book anthologies including Batman: The Brave & The Bold, EC’s Cruel Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Black White & Green, Hello Darkness, and Superman: Man of Tomorrow.Tadd Galusha is a Pacific Northwest comic creator currently operating in “the last frontier” of Alaska.  A Kubert alum, he spent his early days in the industry working alongside artist legends Steve Lieber and Ron Randall in the Portland, Oregon, comic scene. After cutting his tooth on TMNT, Godzilla and the like, 2019 marked a breakout year with the release of his prehistoric epic and first creator-owned graphic novel, Cretaceous. Gail Simone first drew attention with her 1999 “Women in Refrigerators” website chronicling comics’ frequent mistreatment of female characters. Becoming a popular online comics columnist, Simone later wrote Simpsons stories for Bongo Comics before breaking into the mainstream with her 2002 Deadpool run and its Agent X sequel at Marvel. Moving to DC, Simone had a long, acclaimed run on Birds of Prey, featuring heroines such as Oracle (Barbara Gordon), Black Canary and Huntress. She later wrote some of those characters for TV shows such as Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Her other comics credits include DC’s Rose and Thorn, Villains United, Teen Titans, The All-New Atom, Wonder Woman, Secret Six, The Fury of Firestorm and a 2011 Batgirl relaunch starring Simone favorite Barbara Gordon.Artist David Marquez began his career fresh out of college as an animator on Warner Independent Pictures’ 2006 film A Scanner Darkly. Comment from Sagata Kick: Since being deeply impressed by Paul Komoda's Bemular when I was a student, I have been following the KAIJU REMIX series. It is a great honor for me to be part of this series that I have long admired! Originally, Gango is a character born from the modification of a Bemular costume, so when creating my version of Gango, I made sure to infuse it with respect for the KAIJU REMIX version of Bemular. For me, my first encounter with Gango was through the shadow play in the opening scene when I was a child, and I remember being quite shocked at the time. The eerie silhouette, the clattering teeth, and the round eyes. To my young mind, it appeared incredibly frightening and became a sort of trauma. It wasn't until I was in university that I finally watched the main series, and I was once again shocked by the stark contrast between the lovable behavior of Gango and the terrifying image I had in my memory. It's the combination of fear and charm-these two opposing aspects-that define Gango for me, and I've put a lot of effort into sculpting this duality. I hope you'll enjoy it when you get a chance to hold it in your hands! (immagine)
